SLSA Holds Webinar on the Topic- "Sexual orientation and identity: Associated Difficulties

Chandigarh Nov. 05, 2020:- State Legal Services Authority, Chandigarh in collaboration with NSS, UILS, Panjab University, Chandigarh along with Legal Aid Society, UILS organised a webinar on the topic- "Sexual orientation and identity: Associated difficulties " wherein Dr Arzoo Gupta,

Associate professor, Department of Psychiatry, Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh explained the topic in a very detailed manner by way of power point presentation. She took out the causes and misconceptions about the general sexual identity crisis and guided the audience to take it up in a positive manner. Mahavir Singh, Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority, UT Chandigarh discussed the NALSA judgement on Transgender.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by the Teacher Coordinators Dr Amita Verma, Dr Karan Jwanda, Dr Anupam Bahri. The Webinar was also attended by Dr Rajinder kaur Director, University Institute of Legal Studies, Punjab University Chandigarh alongwith Sh Rajeshwar Singh Law Officer, STATE Legal Services Authority, UT Chandigarh.
