Chandigarh August 15, 2020:- Desh Bhagat University, celebrated 74th Independence Day. A deep sense of patriotic fervor was palpable amongst everyone.
Dr Zora Singh, Chancellor DBU hoisted the Tricolor Flag of India. He said that Independence Day remind us of our valiant freedom fighters who fought for the nation and sacrificed their lives unflinchingly. He remembered his father, S. Lal Singh who had contributed in nation's freedom and was honored with 'Tamra Patra' by Government of India.
Pro Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur said that leaders are born only when they have the passion to work for their mother country. We should uphold the values of revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
Everyone saluted the Martyrs.The Herbal Sanitizer and Masks manufactured by Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic Pharmacy were distributed to all and saplings were planted.
Dr Varinder Singh, advisor to Chancellor and Dr. Shalini Gupta, Vice Chancellor DBU thanked everyone for their contribution.
