Chandigarh 16th November:- The Punjab Congress President Partap Singh Bajwa slammed the Badal government for posting big posse of police around the deras associated with eminent Sikh preachers.
Partap Singh Bajwa said that the state government had deployed contingents outside the deras of Panthpreet Singh, Baba respectable Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwala and Baba Daler Singh, all highly preachers who had taken up the issue of desecration of Guru Granth Sahib and the killing of two innocent persons in police firing at Behbal Kalan.
He said that this government seemed to have made a laughing stock of itself through such actions although the Akali Dal claimed itself to be a party representing the Sikhs.
Partap Singh Bajwa said that it was evident that the government was out to crush every voice by using police methods that would boomerang as the people would give befitting reply in the next election.
