Shemrock School organise Inter School Recitation Competition

Chandigarh 13th August:- Shemrock Senior Secondary School organized Inter school junior recitation Competition. As many as 31 Schools from tricity participated in this competition. The competition was divided into age wise two categories. Students of various schools revelled in the joy of words while the reciting rhymes. The participants of the recitation Competition had chosen classic topics, which allowed evocative rendering and transported the audience to the realm of fancy created by the beautiful words. Students used their imagination to create moral based stories like on honesty, national integrity, truthfulness, loyalty etc. Enthusiasm and passion of the students witness by the judges.

In Category "A"  Ekamnoor of Infant jesus bagged first prize whereas Nehmat and  Prabgun Kaur of  Vivek High School got second & third  prize Respectively. In Category "B" Shana  Sharma of Infant Jesus was winner & Bhuvan of st. soldier School won second position & Angelo of St. john was third. Aarushi, Aniket, gurnwaz of Shemrock School, St. Soldier School & Shivalik School respectively were honored with consolation prizes also .The winners were awarded certificates and trophies.

While honouring the winners Director Education of school, S K Sharma presented his observations and comments for the benefit of the students   and said that such competitions enhance ability to use words effectively and would enable a child to create his own unique identity.
