Chandigarh 14th August:- The new batch of Philosophy students at MCM DAV College for Women underwent an orientation programme here today. During the orientation, the students were familiarized with the Philosophy subject, its significance and the trends in Indian and Western thought. This was followed by an interactive session and quiz. Panjab University annual examination toppers were also awarded certificates on the occasion.
MCM DAV Principal Mrs. Neena Dhawan, while underlining the importance of familiarizing the students with the subject, said that making the students aware of the practical relevance of Philosophy is the cornerstone of making them intellectually independent.
