Chandigarh 16th August:- Independence Day was celebrated at Brilliance World School, Panchkula. The National tricolor was hoisted at the school compound which was followed by a series of patriotic melodies. An inter-house patriotic song competition was organized in which students expressed themselves in unique ways & sang from the bottom of their hearts. The song ' Kandhon Se Milte Kandhe ' from Aravalli house got the first position while ' Vande Mataram ' from Hmalaya house got the second, ' Taqat Watan ki' from Vindhyachal house got the third position. The song 'Zero Diya Mere Bharat Ne' compelled every-one to tap their feet. The day came to an end with the national anthem.
Shayam Sunder, Chairman, Brilliance World School, Panchkula said that the Independence Day celebration saw a competitive patriotic singing presentation. As the event was competitive students worked very hard to put forth their best patriotic songs.
