By 121 News

Chandigarh 08th June:- Students of Indo Global Colleges Rajiv Paramanya, Rajat Bhatia & Ankit Sapru made a project that senses accident in the vehicle and intimates pre-programmed numbers like the owner of the vehicle, ambulance, police etc. The GSM technology is used to send the position of the vehicle as SMS to those numbers.  This is received by a GSM modem in the device and processed by the Spartan processor and the processor sends command to a GPS module in the device. The GPS module responds with coordinate's position of the vehicle. This position is sent to the user as an SMS to the user with date, time, and latitude and longitude positions. It immediately sends the position of the vehicle and also the information that there is an accident, to pre-programmed numbers such as the owner of the vehicle, police, ambulance etc.

While speaking at the moment Chairman Sukhdev Singla said that the Rapid growth of technology has made life easier and also increased the traffic hazards. Hence the ratio of road accidents which take place frequently increases causing immense loss of life due to poor emergency facilities. It provided a solution for accident detection and prevention for human life safety. It enables intelligent detection of an accident at any place and reports about the accident on predefined numbers
