Mohali 27th January:- The students of Doon International School arranged a fantastic and superb send off a Farewell Party function for the outgoing students of 10+2 in school Campus. Cultural items were presented on this occasion. The function was graced by C S Mann, Director Doon International School. Amidst cheer and applause were ushered into the pandal and rose petals were showered on them. The function began with the performance of Deepshikha ceremony as a mark of respect for the Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of learning.
The cultural programme comprising skits, mono-acting and songs was interspersed with delightful modern and traditional dances. The comedy highlighted the role of professionally educated people in the modern day society. Senior students coordinated with their juniors in organizing the Event which was a grand success.
While congratulated the outgoing students Director C S Mann impressed upon them the need of hard work, commitment, discipline, punctuality, foresight and said that quest for knowledge is a great boon in any sector and will remain as asset for the young managers of tomorrow. He urged the students to work assiduously to carve out their careers and climb the ladder of success to the greater heights of achievements.
