CCET organise Orientation Programme For 1st Year Students

Chandigarh, 26th August:-- Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology, Chandigarh today hold the orientation programme for the first year students.

The principal, M.S.Gujral welcomed the students and introduced them to the faculty, coursework, technical as well as cultural activities, and the various active clubs. Professors from various departments informed the students about the infrastructure capabilities of the college, to encourage them to come forward for holistic development. Anti-ragging helpline number was displayed and the students were assured of their safety.

The thing that most caught the attention of the students was an overview of the techno-cultural fest, Apratim '13, that is set to be held on 4th and 5th of October, which would provide them with an opportunity to showcase their talent in myriad fields. Students were also educated about the on-going student driven eye donation campaign, Drishti.

Such an enthusiastic event not only eased their entry in the college environment, but also gave them the confidence to participate in various college activities with the prior support of fellow students, teachers, and the visionary principal of this institution
