“Techno Minds” Competition at Shemrock School:15 Schools of Tricity participate

Chandigarh 26^th July:--- Shemrock Senior Secondary School Mohali today organised "TECHNO MINDS" an Annual Inter School Competition for classes 8, 9, 10^th,( Group C,B,A) where almost 15 schools of tricity participated and  three teams from each participating school took part in the competition. Deploying Technology for Education, Role of social networking in life, New Approaches to learning and enhancing Knowledge were the Topics for 8^th ,9^th and 10^th respectively .

To present their topics students used P.P.T. (power projector) .This competition continued for three hours and students presented their topics in best possible way that even it was difficult for judges  to select the winners.

The students were judged by the Judges on the basis of Presentation (Slides and Contents) and Presenting skills i.e. confidence, understanding of topic and time duration. From  Group C(Class 8)J asmeet Chauhan and Simrat Bopari of St.Anne's School won the first prize &Harmeet  Singh and Harmanpreet singh of Shishu Niketan Public School won the second prize  whereas from Group B(class -9^th) Shubham and Harjot Singh  won the first prize whereas Aadrit and Shubhra won the second prize. Gurleen and Meharpreet of Shemrock School won the third prize. Of Group A: (Class 10)Karanbir and gagandeep  of Shemrock  School won the first prize whereas Rahul  Maurya and Anshuman of Shishu Niketan School won the second prize. Lavish  Bansal and Sanam Goyal of The Millennium won the third prize. The Running Trophy was won byShishu Niketan Public School

While speaking on this occasion principal of school ,Wing Commander Mr S.K  sharma said that  these  'techno mind competitions' enhance the feeling of competition in students minds, besides, this make student competent to confront struggle in the life with hard work and enthusiasm .He further added that students also get opportunity to know new techniques. In the end Mr. Bajwa, chairman, of shamrock school distributed the prizes to the winners and also congratulated them on their achievement.
