Panchkula, July 25, 2025:- पारस हेल्थ रविवार को सेक्टर-22 स्थित हॉस्पिटल में सुबह 10 बजे से दोपहर 2 बजे तक फ्री मल्टीस्पेशलिटी हेल्थ कैंप का आयोजन कर रहा है। इस कैंप का मकसद लोगों को बेहतर हेल्थकेयर सुविधाएं और बीमारी से बचाव से जुड़ी जानकारी देना है।कैंप में इंटरनल मेडिसिन, ऑर्थोपेडिक्स और सर्जिकल ऑन्कोलॉजी जैसे डिपार्टमेंट्स के स्पेशलिस्ट डॉक्टर फ्री मेडिकल सलाह देंगे। इसके अलावा कैंप में आने वाले लोगों को ब्लड प्रेशर, बॉडी मास इंडेक्स, रैंडम ब्लड शुगर और बोन मिनरल डेंसिटी जैसी जांचें भी फ्री में की जाएंगी।

बीमारी से बचाव को और बढ़ावा देने के लिए हॉस्पिटल कुछ ज़रूरी जांचों पर 50% की छूट भी दे रहा है। इनमें सीबीसी, एलऍफ़टी, आरऍफ़टी, लिपिड प्रोफाइल, यूरिन जांच और मैमोग्राफी शामिल हैं। ये जांचें बीमारी की जल्दी पहचान और रेगुलर हेल्थ चेकअप के लिए बेहद जरूरी हैं।

Chandigarh, July 25, 2025:--A brilliant century from skipper Ankit Kaushik powered Leisure Zone to a thrilling three-wicket victory over Rock Zone at the ongoing UTCA One-Day match held at SSCA Cricket Academy, Kandla on Friday.

Earlier, Rock Zone after winning the toss opted to bat first. Openers Ramanjeet Singh (100) and captain Arijit Singh (104) stitched together a 192-run partnership to lay a solid foundation for their side. Rock Zone posted a competitive total of 281/4 in their allotted 50 overs. Chiraz Singh (2/55) was the pick of the bowlers for Leisure Zone.

In reply, Hartejassvi Kapoor (4/56) rocked the Leisure Zone top order and reduce them to 127/5. However, Ankit Kaushik led a remarkable recovery to score a match-defining 125 that included six boundaries and six sixes. He guided the team to 239/7 before his dismissal.  Later, unbeaten Saksham Singh Salaria (42) held his nerve to finish the chase with an unbeaten knock and sealed the win with four balls to spare.

सीजीएसटी लुधियाना ने 260 करोड़ रुपये के फर्जी बिलिंग घोटाले का किया पर्दाफाश, 2 गिरफ्तार

Chandigarh, July 25, 2025:- विशिष्ट खुफिया सूचना के आधार पर, केंद्रीय जीएसटी (सीजीएसटी), लुधियाना आयुक्तालय के अधिकारियों ने पंजाब के फतेहगढ़ साहिब जिले के मंडी गोबिंदगढ़ क्षेत्र में कई तलाशी अभियान चलाए। इन अभियानों के दौरान लोहे और इस्पात क्षेत्र में फर्जी इनपुट टैक्स क्रेडिट (आईटीसी) प्राप्त करने एवं उसे आगे वितरित करने में लिप्त एक संगठित गिरोह का भंडाफोड़ किया गया, जो पाँच फर्मों के माध्यम से यह धोखाधड़ी कर रहा था।

तलाशी के दौरान अधिकारियों ने एक ऐसी कार्यप्रणाली का खुलासा किया, जिसमें धोखेबाज गिरोह ऋणग्रस्त रोलिंग मिलों का अधिग्रहण कर, उन्हें एक मुखौटा (फ्रंट) के रूप में उपयोग कर फर्जी आईटीसी प्राप्त करता था और जीएसटी प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों से बचने का प्रयास करता था।

तलाशी कार्रवाई के पश्चात, 24 जुलाई 2025 को उक्त फर्मों का संचालन और नियंत्रण करने वाले दो व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। प्रारंभिक जांच के अनुसार, फर्जी बिलों का अनुमानित मूल्य लगभग ₹260 करोड़ है, जिससे सरकारी राजस्व को लगभग ₹47 करोड़ का नुकसान हुआ है।

अब तक की दो गिरफ्तारियों के पश्चात, पूरे नेटवर्क की विस्तृत जांच की जा रही है तथा इसमें संलिप्त अन्य संस्थाओं और व्यक्तियों की पहचान की जा रही है।

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) boycotted today's event, stating that when city roads are broken, areas are waterlogged, people are drinking unsafe water, and toxic leachate from Dadumajra is entering residential areas holding celebrations is an insult to public pain.

AAP highlighted that it was under AAP Mayor Kuldeep Kumar that Chandigarh ranked 2nd in the national Swachh Survekshan, and now the BJP mayoral candidate is wrongly claiming credit for it.

Bathinda, July 25, 2025:-With the arrival of the monsoon season, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Bathinda urges the community to stay vigilant against waterborne diseases and emphasizes the importance of timely prevention and awareness. Seasonal illnesses like typhoid, malaria, hepatitis, and fungal infections tend to rise during the monsoon due to contaminated water, poor hygiene, and high humidity. Early Recognition of symptoms and seeking timely medical intervention are crucial steps in preventing complications and ensuring faster recovery.

Dr. Shilpa Gupta consultant internal medicine at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Bathinda, emphasized the need to take proper care during the rainy season and said that one of the most common waterborne concerns during the monsoon is fungal infection. Monsoons and fungal infections often go hand-in-hand due to the warm and humid conditions that create an ideal environment for fungal growth. Common skin infections include ringworm, athlete's foot, and fungal nail infections. Another major concern is malaria, which can range from mild to severe. Key symptoms include chills, high fever, continuous sweating, nausea, vomiting, headaches, diarrhea, abdominal pain, muscle pain, and weakness. Ignoring these symptoms can lead to serious complications or even prove fatal.

Dr. Shilpa further stated that typhoid is another common problem during the monsoon, often caused by unhygienic food, contaminated water, or close contact with an infected person. It can be prevented by avoiding raw food, drinking safe water, and maintaining proper hand hygiene. Other waterborne diseases like cholera, giardiasis, amoebic dysentery, and hepatitis are also prevalent during this season and can significantly impact one's health.

Talking about prevention, Dr. Shilpa Gupta said that the foremost thumb rule is to address fungal infections effectively at the onset of the monsoon. This includes maintaining proper hygiene, using appropriate antifungal medications, and keeping the skin dry. 

AAP Slams 12% Power Tariff Hike in Chandigarh, Registers Protest Before JERC Chairperson; Privatization Proved to Be a Blunder

Chandigarh, July 25, 2025:– The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chandigarh unit has strongly opposed the 12% electricity tariff hike approved by the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC), calling it a direct assault on public interest. AAP leaders formally submitted a memorandum and voiced their objections directly before the JERC Chairperson during the public hearing held at the Government Museum & Art Gallery, Sector 10.

This was the first tariff hike after privatization of the electricity wing in 2025, when the profitable government-run department was handed over to Chandigarh Power Distribution Ltd. (CPDL). AAP had opposed this privatization from day one, participating in city-wide protests alongside electricity department employees. AAP Chandigarh President Vijaypal Singh, that we had warned that this company would exploit the public to show artificial losses and hike tariffs  today our fears have come true.

In the hearing, Vijaypal Singh, State Media In-Charge Vikrant A Tanwar, General Secretary Omkar Singh Aulakh, and Councillor Hardeep Singh pointed out that the electricity wing made ₹258.85 crore profit in 2020–21 under government management. Within months of privatization, CPDL has projected shocking revenue gaps  ₹158.01 crore for 2025–26 and a total projected loss of ₹982 crore over the next five years  all without any independent audit.

AAP also highlighted the decline in service quality since CPDL took over: frequent power cuts, inflated bills, poor grievance redressal, and arbitrary disconnections. "People are now paying more for worse services  this is robbery, not reform," Singh said.

Drawing comparisons with AAP-ruled Punjab, where 82% of households receive 300 units of free electricity, AAP questioned why not even a single Chandigarh resident gets any relief.

AAP demanded immediate rollback of the tariff hike, independent audit of CPDL's finances, public performance review, and provision of at least 200 free units for domestic consumers. AAP team,said that if CPDL cannot serve people efficiently, its license must be cancelled and power supply must be returned to government hands.

Chandigarh, July 25, 2025:- नगर निगम पहले से दयनीय वित्तीय स्थिति से गुजर रहा है उसके बाद बहुत से प्लांट/प्रोजेक्टों में कंपनियां अपना फायदा उठाकर नगर निगम को चूना लगा रही है। पिछली नगर निगम की हाउस की मीटिंग में हॉर्टिकल्चर प्लांट का मुद्दा उठा था जिसमें पार्षद तरुणा मेहता, प्रेमलता ओर जसबीर बंटी ने नगर निगम को हो रहे नुकसान को उजागर किया था 

                 उसके बाद अब इन्हीं तीनों पार्षदों ने सेक्टर 25 के सॉलिड वेस्ट प्लांट का औचक निरीक्षण किया था जिसमें बहुत बड़ी खामियां मिली थी यानी प्लांट लगभग बंद की स्थिति में था। पार्षदों ने वहां देखा कि पिछले कई महीनों से कपड़ों के बड़े बड़े ढेर बिना प्रोसेस के पड़े थे यानी जो क्लॉथ शरेडर भी एमसी के खर्चे से लगाया गया था वो नहीं चल रहा था उसके इलावा...

1. एक साल से कपड़ों को छोटे छोटे पिस यानी 200 सौ एमएम में काटने वाला प्राइमरी शरेडर मशीन खराब थी 

    2. उसके साथ ड्रायर भी खराब था उसका आईडी फेन ओर उसके साथ लगी पाइप लाइन काम नहीं कर रही थी

3. कंप्रेशर कई महीनों से चल नहीं रहा था।

4. ब्लेंडर रिमूव करके रखा हुआ था। 

5. लिफ्टर को बदले कई महीने हो चुके थे। 

6. बाल्स्टिक स्प्रेटर की चार में से दो शाफ़्ट हटा कर रखी हुई थी। उसके कारण इनर्ट्स के साथ साथ रिसाइकल मैटीरियल भी मिक्स होकर लैंडफिल साइट पर जा रहा था जोकि कूड़े के पहाड़ बनने का कारण बन रहा था इनर्ट्स लगभग 10% गिरना चाहिए था। लेकिन इस से तो परसेंटेज की सीमा ही नहीं रह रही थी।

7. ब्लास्टिक सेपरेटर के साथ कन्वेयर बेल्ट उसको बदलने की जगह बेल्ट को काटकर रखा हुआ था। जिस से इनर्ट्स के साथ फ्रेश वेस्ट  मिक्स होकर अंदर ही गिर रहा था जोकि की आरडीएफ के बाहर यार्ड में  गिरना चाहिए उसे अंदर ट्राली में भरकर बाहर गिराया जा रहा था।

8. 50 एमएम कपड़े को काटने वाला सेकंडरी शरेडर जिसे दस टन प्रति घंटा प्रोसेस करना था वो दो या तीन टन के करीब प्रति घंटा प्रोसेस कर रही थी वो भी तीन शिफ्ट में यानी कम कपेस्टी से काम हो रहा था।

9. सभी बेल्ट खराब या फटी हुई थी जिसमें BC 1 से लेकर BC 5, 7,11 ओर 12 सभी बदलने वाली थी।

10. कंपनी एक प्लांट के कर्मचारियों को दूसरे प्लांट (सेग्रीगेशन प्लांट) में भी काम करवा रही थी जबकि पेमेंट दोनों प्लांट के ले रही थी।

11. बिजली पानी का बिल भी नगर निगम खुद भर रहा हे।

12. कंपनी को महीने के 33 लाख रुपए के करीब नगर नगर पेमेंट करता है जिसमें सैलरी, डीजल, प्लांट एंड मशीनरी मेंटेनेंस के देने होते है।

13. जो फाइनल प्रोडेक्ट निकलता है यानी आरडीएफ वो भी कंपनी खुद बेचती है।

जसबीर सिंह बंटी, डिप्टी मेयर तरुणा मेहता ओर पार्षद प्रेमलता ओर ने ज्वाइंट स्टेटमेंट देते हुए कहा कि इसकी जानकारी हमने कमिश्नर को दे दी थी जिस पर उन्होंने जल्द जांच करने ओर उस पर कारवाई करने का भरोसा दिया था। नगर निगम को हाउस की मीटिंग इस मुद्दे को जरूर उठाएंगे और कमिश्नर से कंपनी पर भारी जुर्माने के साथ ब्लैक लिस्ट करने की मांग करेंगे। कंपनियां नगर निगम को मात्र कमाई करने का साधन ना समझे।

सावन के शुभावसर पर लगाया कढ़ी-चावल का लंगर

Chandigarh, July 25, 2025:--सावन माह के शुभ अवसर के उपलक्ष्य में  सेक्टर 45 सी (ब्लॉक 2101-2122), चंडीगढ़, शिव भक्तों की ओर से कढ़ी-चावल का लंगर लगाया गया। सैकड़ों श्रद्धालुओं ने प्रसाद ग्रहण कर शिवभक्ति का आनंद लिया। लँगर सेवा में दीपक ठाकुर, संदीप, राजीव खुराना, प्रणव और सोनू योगदान और सहयोग दिया।

सेक्टर 45 में लगाए गए कढ़ी-चावल लंगर में सेवा निभाते हुए संदीप कुमार व अन्य ने बताया कि सावन के महीने में, शिव भक्तों द्वारा लंगर लगाए जाते हैं। यह सावन के महीने में भगवान शिव के प्रति अपनी भक्ति और सम्मान व्यक्त करने का एक तरीका है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह एक-दूसरे के साथ जुड़ने और साथ ही भगवान शिव का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने का भी एक तरीका है। सावन के महीने में लंगर लगाने की प्रथा सदियों से चली आ रही है और यह भक्तों के बीच एक महत्वपूर्ण परंपरा बन गई है।

पैरागॉन स्कूल ने आयोजित किया रक्तदान शिविर

Mohali, July 24, 2025:- पैरागॉन सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल, सेक्टर 71, मोहाली द्वारा स्कूल के  निदेशक रहे और अब  स्वर्गीय एस. इक़बाल एस. शेरगिल की पुण्य स्मृति में एक रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। यहां यह बताना उचित होगा कि इकबाल एस. शेरगिल को नियति के क्रूर हाथों ने बहुत कम उम्र में छीन लिया था।

शिविर एक भावपूर्ण अवसर था और  स्कूल के स्टाफ के सदस्यों, पूर्व छात्रों तथा अन्य शुभचिंतकों ने इसमें बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया।रक्तदाताओं  ने  इस सामाजिक कार्य में अपनी सहभागिता निभाई और  शिविर में रक्त की कुल 102 युनिटस एकत्रित हुईं। शिविर का आयोजन स्व. शेरगिल के जन्म दिवस -जुलाई 24, को स्मरण करने हेतु किया गया था । 

यह शिविर स्कूल परिसर में सोहाना अस्पताल के  सहयोग के साथ आयोजित किया गया। सोहाना अस्पताल  श्री गुरु हरकृष्ण साहिब आई हॉस्पिटल ट्रस्ट के अंतर्गत एक प्रतिष्ठित बहु-विशेषता चिकित्सालय है। रक्त संग्रहण का कार्य डॉ. गुरमीत सिंह (एमबीबीएस, एमडी), विभागाध्यक्ष – ट्रांसफ्यूजन मेडिसिन, के नेतृत्व में 12 सदस्यीय पैरामेडिकल टीम द्वारा सम्पन्न किया गया।

इस अवसर पर स्कूल के मेंटर और   पैरागॉन एजुकेशनल सोसाइटी के वरिष्ठ सदस्य जतिंदर  सिंह शेरगिल  ने कहा कि यह आयोजन स्वर्गीय शेरगिल  को समर्पित एक भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि है, जो उनके जीवन मूल्यों — करुणा, सेवा और नि:स्वार्थता — को समर्पित है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि स्व. इक़बाल एस. शेरगिल न केवल शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में एक प्रेरणा स्रोत थे, बल्कि मानवीय मूल्यों के प्रतीक भी थे। उनके द्वारा स्थापित आदर्श आज भी हम सभी को प्रेरणा देते हैं।

उन्होंने यह भी घोषणा की कि यह रक्तदान शिविर अब प्रतिवर्ष स्व. शेरगिल के जन्म दिवस के उपलक्ष में पर आयोजित किया जाएगा, ताकि उनकी 'समाज की बेहतरी के लिए काम करने  की भावना' जीवित रह सके और समाज में सकारात्मकता का संचार होता रहे।

अंत में स्कूल प्रबंधन ने सभी रक्तदाताओं, प्रतिभागियों और सहयोगियों का हृदय से धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया। हर एक रक्तदाता का स्कूल के एन.सी.सी कैडेट्स द्वारा स्वागत किया गया और उनकी एक सेल्फी बूथ पर  तस्वीर भी ली गई यह रक्तदाताओं को सम्मान देने का एक अनूठा तरीका था । शिविर के दौरान रक्तदाताओं को सर्टिफिकेट और रिफ्रेशमेंट वितरित किया गया।
