Chandigarh 30^th December:- Sometimes many television shows and celebrities can really touch the lives of their fans, especially for fans who are faced with serious medical conditions. Meeting your favorite star is always an emotional experience, however, for these struggling fans it could be one of the greatest moments of their entire lives.

Evidently so, Sony Sab's Chidiyaghar has been sort of a healing humor for Poonam Mehta from Haryana who is battling with cancer, but sadly she is at the last stage and has been given about a month to live. It was an emotional but happy moment for Poonam when she met with the star cast of her favorite television show.

Despite all the pain that she was experiencing, Poonam, who never missed an episode, was really grateful to Chidiyaghar team for giving her the ability to laugh wholeheartedly at least for 30 minutes in the day.

 Aditi Sajwan who plays the role of Koyal, said that it was very disheartening to know Poonam's medical condition, but we are so glad that our show has impacted her life in such a positive way. We surely hope that the content we show should not only just entertain but also help people like Poonam in their personal difficulties. She prays to the almighty to give her and her family all the strength to recover from this illness.

Sukhdev Singh Kahlon Assumes Charge of DPI(SE)

Chandigarh 30^th December:- Director SCERT, S.Sukhdev Singh Kahlon a well known name in the sphere of Education assumes the charge of DPI(S). In keeping with the instructions and the guidance of Education Minister Punjab, Dr. Daljeet Singh Cheema, Sukhdev Singh took over the additional charge of DPI(S) in Mohali today. Born in a family of freedom fighters to Gurbachan Singh in District Gurdaspur at Fatehgarh Churian, Sukhdev Singh did his M.A in English and Political Science and M.ED (Gold Medallist). He has been honored with the State Award in 2003 and National award in 2007 for his endeavors and a futuristic vision for the development and betterment of Education for the students of Punjab.

Sukhdev Singh while talking to media expressed his thanks to the Chief Minister Punjab, Parkash Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister , Sukhbir Singh Badal and the Education Minister Punjab, Dr. Daljeet Singh Cheema for showing a faith in his abilities and giving him an opportunity to deliver his maximum in the field of education. He said that he would leave no stone unturned in augmenting and providing quality education to the students of Punjab. Janak Raj Secretary, Punjab School Education Board while expressing his heart felt congratulations ensured full cooperation in his endeavors.

A website, www.hardinhappy.com has been launched where people can visit and take a pledge to remain happy throughout the year.

The website measures your happiness quotient. All you have to do is to answer some questions pertaining to different aspects of life and your happiness score pops up. Each user will get a customized E-certificate as an acknowledgement of the pledge taken. Users can share the certificates online on social networking channels such as Facebook, or Twitter and can also encourage their friends and relatives to participate and take a pledge.

There is an ocean of studies and research that assert that a happy person is likely to live longer and yet people keep looking for excuses to remain unhappy. The trend is found predominantly in the youth of the nation. Thus the initiative has been taken to emphasize the significance and reimbursement of being happy.  The teleco has made a special video called 'Har Din Happy' to convey the message that if we decide to be happy we will be happy. खट्टर सरकार की खेल नीति पर कांग्रेस प्रदेशाध्यक्ष ने उठाए सवाल:खिलाडिय़ों को रोजगार नहीं तो करेंगे आंदोलन :तंवर

Chandigarh 30^th December:- हरियाणा कांग्रेस प्रदेशाध्यक्ष डॉ. अशोक तंवर ने राज्य की खट्टर सरकार की खेल नीति पर गंभीर सवाल उठाए हैं। दो साल में खेल कोटे से राज्य के एक भी खिलाड़ी को रोजगार नहीं दिए जाने को शर्मनाक बताते हुए डॉ. अशोक तंवर ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार खिलाडिय़ों के साथ धोखा कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे पहले पदक विजेता खिलाडिय़ों को नदक पुरस्कार देने में भी सरकार ने देरी की। उन्होंने सरकार को चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि अगर सरकार ने पदक विजेता खिलाडिय़ों को खेल नीति के तहत नौकरियां नहीं दी तो कांग्रेस उनके हकों के लिए आंदोलन करेगी।

अपने दो दिन के चंडीगढ़़ प्रवास के दौरान आमिर खान की फिल्म 'दंगल' देखने के बाद डॉ. अशोक तंवर ने कहा कि इस फिल्म में महावीर फौगाट के संघर्षपूर्ण जीवन का बखूबी प्रदर्शन किया गया है। यह फिल्म प्रदेशभर की बेटियों के लिए भी प्रेरणादायक साबित होगी। डॉ. अशोक तंवर ने कहा कि राज्य की खट्टर सरकार नारा तो 'बेटी बचाओ-बेटी पढ़ाओ' का देरी है लेकिन कॉमनवेल्थ गेम की पदक विजेता गीता फौगाट को अपने अधिकारों के लिए भी लम्बी लड़ाई लडऩी पड़ी।

उन्होंने कहा कि इससे दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बात क्या होगी कि गीता फौगाट को हरियाणा पुलिस में डीएसपी लगने के लिए भी पंजाब एवं हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट की शरण लेनी पड़ी। प्रदेश की खट्टर सरकार ने उसे डीएसपी नियुक्त भी किया तो हाईकोर्ट के आदेशों के बाद। इस घटना से यह बात साबित हो जाती है कि प्रदेश सरकार बेटियों का सम्मान करने की बजाय उन्हें अपमानित कर रही है। कांग्रेस प्रदेशाध्यक्ष ने कहा कि सीएम मनोहर लाल खट्टर को दंगल फिल्म देखने के बाद 'बेटी बचाओ-बेटी पढ़ाओ' अभियान के लिए अपनी पीठ थपथपाने का कोई अधिकार नहीं है।

डॉ. अशोक तंवर ने कहा कि खेल नीति के तहत रोजगार हासिल करने के लिए 119 खिलाडिय़ों द्वारा आवेदन किया गया था लेकिन इनमें से 60 खिलाडिय़ों के आवेदन को सरकार ने बिना उनका पक्ष सुने ही रद्द कर दिया। वहीं 59 खिलाडिय़ों में से भी केवल आठ ही खिलाडिय़ों को क्लास-टू की नौकरी के काबिल माना है। कांग्रेस सरकार में कॉमनवेल्थ विजेता खिलाडिय़ों को सीधे डीएसपी भर्ती किया गया था लेकिन मौजूदा सरकार ने इन खेलों के पदक विजेताओं को भी तृतीय श्रेणी की नौकरी के लिए योग्य माना है। कांग्रेस खिलाडिय़ों के हक के लिए किसी भी संघर्ष के लिए तैयार है।

ਡਾ. ਸੰਦੀਪ ਸੈਕਸੇਨਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਅਹਿੰਮ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਲਈ ਚੋਣ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਰੀ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਇੰਨ ਬਿੰਨ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੋਰਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਅਹਿੰਮ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਸਿਵਲ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਟੀਮ ਵਰਕ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ  ਸੁਖਾਵਾਂ ਮਹੌਲ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨਿੱਗ੍ਹਾ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਮਨ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਗੌੜਿਆਂ (ਪੀ.ਓਜ਼) ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ 100ਫੀਸਦੀ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ । ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਨਾਕੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ, ਸਰਾਬ ਜਾਂ ਪੈਸੇ ਵੰਡ ਕੇ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਮਾਂ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਚੋਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਸਰੀ ਸੁਧਾਈ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚੜਾਉਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ੳਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ ਸਮੂਹ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਚੋਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁੱਖੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਰਿਟਰਨਿੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵਿਸਥਾਰਪੂਰਵਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ। 

ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਚੋਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਵੀ.ਕੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਉਪ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ 2017 ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਥਾਰਪੂਰਵਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਚੌਣਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਨਸ਼ਾ, ਪੈਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਵੰਡਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਤੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋ ਵੀ ਚੋਣ ਜਾਬਤਾ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਗਠਿਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹਰਕਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਈ.ਵੀ.ਐਮ ਮਸੀਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਲਟ ਪੇਪਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਵੀ.ਕੇ. ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਅਸਲਾਂ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਜੀ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਆਖਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਬੂਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੁਖਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਸਮੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਪੇਸ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ। ਸਵੀਪ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੋਟ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਪ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਚੋਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੀ.ਕੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਰਾਜਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਨ ਅਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚੜਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਵੀ ਲਏ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ-ਕਮ-ਵਧੀਕ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਚੋਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ, ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ (ਵਿਕਾਸ) ਚਰਨਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਥਿੰਦ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਸ ਡੇਰਾਬੱਸੀ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ ਖਰੜ ਅਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਬਰਾੜ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
