Chandigarh, May 09, 2026:-Gurunanak Public School Sector 36 emerged as the Basketball champion at the grand finale of “Tricity Champions Sports Fest 2025–26” held at Amity University Punjab. Gurukul Global School secured the runner-up position, while SGGS School and DAV Lahore finished as second runner-up teams. The tournament witnessed exciting matches, energetic performances and strong sportsmanship among participating schools.
The tournament included competitions in Basketball, Chess, Tug of War, Badminton and Table Tennis. More than 200 students and sports coordinators participated in the finale, creating a vibrant and competitive sporting atmosphere at the university campus.
The sports fest was organised by Zenith Ad World in association with 106.4 FM Radio Orange. Around 22 reputed schools from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula participated in the event after qualifying through preliminary rounds conducted at their respective campuses.
Zenith Ad World received appreciation for professionally managing the entire event, including coordination, branding, scheduling and on-ground execution. Organisers said the sports fest provided an excellent platform for promoting young sporting talent across the Tricity region.
