Chandigarh,  Apr.19, 2026:-Exciting cricketing action continued on Day 2 of the ongoing Gully Cricket Tournament being organised by UT Cricket Association in collaboration with Chandigarh Police as  teams displayed remarkable performances across all nine venues. . The highlight of the day came from Team No. 244, which registered the highest total of the tournament so far, scoring an impressive 201 runs. Later they went on to defeat Team No. 243 by a massive margin of 159 runs, marking one of the most emphatic victories of the competition.

Several other matches also witnessed thrilling encounters and commanding wins. Team No. 116 secured a comprehensive 84-run victory over Team No. 115, while Team No. 119 outclassed Team No. 120 by 68 runs. Team No. 212 also impressed with a strong 71-run win against Team No. 211. Among close contests, Team No. 149 edged past Team No. 150 by just 1 run, and Team No. 113 clinched a nail-biting 2-run victory over Team No. 114.

Chasing sides too made their presence felt, with Team No. 23 cruising to a 9-wicket win over Team No. 24, while Team No. 214 recorded a flawless 10-wicket victory against Team No. 213. Team No. 246 and Team No. 248 also delivered convincing performances, winning by 7 and 8 wickets respectively.

In the girls’ category, Team No. 5 and Team No. 8 registered confident wins, continuing the competitive spirit across all divisions.
