Students Celebrated Dussehra in Lawerence Public School

Mohali, Oct.12, 2024:--To mark the victory of good over evil, Dussehra was celebrated at The Lawerance Public Senior secondary school's Junior wing with religious spirit and devotion. The school wore a festive look. The Students came dressed up as various characters from Ramayana. They enacted the scenes from different kands of Ramayana and mesmerized the audience.

They brought to life scenes from Lord Ram's childhood, his wedding, his years of exile, the abduction of Sita, and at last the slaying of Ravan. The effigy of Ravana was burnt along with which students burnt one evil habit each , that they had written on paper slips,   while promising to shun it.

School Principal Veena Malhotra said that by conducting such programs, the feeling of mutual love and brotherhood among the students increases. Dussehra and Diwali celebrations are the most exciting events in the Indian festival calendar which should be aptly utilized to sensitize students towards Indian values, She added.
