Chandigarh March 26, 2021:- School of Paramedical Sciences, Desh Bhagat University successfully conducted a Quiz competition on WORLD TB DAY for the students of B.Sc Operation theatre technology and B.Sc Medical Lab technology and DMLT. Chancellor of the university Dr. Zora Singh congratulated the students for participating in the quiz competition.
Giving details of the event, a spokesperson of the university said here today that 3 different groups i.e B.Sc Operation theatre technology with group B and C, B.Sc Medical Lab technology with group A and C and DMLT with group A and B with 4 participants in each group gave tough battle to each other. Raushan Ali, Aqib Manzoor lone, Toiba Ali, Siya from BSC OTT, Preeti, Sanjay, Priyanka, Sumandeep Kaur from BSC MLT1(GROUP B), and Dilpreet, Amandeep, Rahul, Jyoti from DMLT (GROUP C) participated in the competition.
He further said that the Rules and regulations of the quiz were explained at the beginning. It was an interesting three-round competition. The students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. Though some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audience clap when the teams answered correctly. Although the teams participated actively, the team that scored the most was Group B, It was a very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience.
Pro-Chancellor of DBU Dr. Tejinder Kaur said that Learning gives Creativity, Creativity leads to thinking, Thinking provides knowledge, and Knowledge makes us great. Quiz competitions are always interesting and informative, which provide excitement among the students and also make them aware of Current Affairs.
Desh Bhagat University encourages such positive competitions and hopes to bring out the best in all its students through such competitive events while ensuring that the children learn through all possible ways not just through books and classroom teaching.
