Chandigarh 11th February:- Zee TV's immensely popular primetime drama Tashan-e-Ishq continues to entertain its viewers with interesting twists and turns and the show is about to see some more excitement in the coming week with the entry of the beautiful Shritama Mukherjee. The young actress will be seen playing the character of Mahi - Twinkle's (Played by Jasmine Bhasin) younger sister who's just returned from London.
About her role, Shritama said that it feels great and she is super excited to play the role of Mahi Taneja. This is an unusual character, something she hadn't played in the span of her career. Mahi is a complete opposite of her sister Twinkle. She is introverted and vulnerable, doesn't know how to face the world. However, the love of her life will transform her in unimaginable ways. Additionally, the role is quite a departure from who she is as a person, so she is working that much harder to get the body language, the demeanor and tone right. It's a challenging role and she is hoping that audiences will like me as Mahi.
With the entry of this interesting character, viewers will witness some high-voltage drama that will keep them glued to the show. On finding out that she has a sister called Mahi, Twinkle breaks down and questions her family why the truth was hidden from her all this while. On the other hand, Mahi shocks everyone by revealing that she has married someone, and what stuns everyone even more is when UV turns out to be Mahi's husband.
