Chandigarh 07th December:- R.S. 'Faraz', Punjabi poet was released his collection of ghazals, 'Birha Da Sake' at Sector 27 Chandigarh Press Club. The collection was released by famous Punjabi writer Surjit Singh Patar, who was the chief guest on the occasion. The event was conducted by Harjinder Walia who introduced the audience about the collection.
Launching the book, 'Birha Da Sake', R.S. 'Faraz' said that he had been since long planning to come up with a book but it was destined to release the book today. He informed earlier he had written two ghazal books 'Socha de Ghund' in 2007 and 'Birha da Ghut' in 2009 and had got a good response from the readers, after which he was encouraged to come up with this new collection 'Faraz' informed his wife Sudarshan Walia who is herself a ghazal writer supported him in this venture. He added most of the ghazals were related to nature, thought, environment, change, love and simplicity, besides patriotism.
