CGC Jhanjeri Students Excelles in PTU Results

Chandigarh 02^nd July:- Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri proved their academic excellence in the results of B.Tech second semester Physics Group April/May 2015 exams conducted by PTU Jalandhar. This Physics Group comprising ECE and Civil Engg branches. Simranjeet kaur of ECE secured first and Rajesh Sharma got second positions with 91.9% marks and 86.2% respectively whereas Shubham Khurana, Shubham Koundal, and Parbhat Singh captured first, second and third positions in Civil Engg by getting 88.4%, 87.8% and 87.5% respectively . As many as 24 students secured more than 80% marks and the pass percentage in various subjects is upto 100%.

S.Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC, congratulated the students and faculty for the excellent results achieved by them. All the CGC students standing first in PTU are awarded laptops. Last year four students brought rare honour to this college. He further informed that the result of the chemistry group of this class comprising of Mechanical Engg students is still awaited. The college authorities say that the result of Chemistry Group of this college is expected to be far better.
