Quest Group Held Industrial Visit For IT & Engineers students

Mohali 12^th September:-- Quest Group of Institutions held an industrial visit for its students of Computer & Science Engineering at Netsmartz House in IT Park (Chandigarh) and Sebiz Finishing School Mohali. Netsmartz is a CMMi Level 3 & ISO 9001: 2008 certified software Development Company. A Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, it truly is a global, quality-driven, software company. Sebiz Finishing School is a venture of Netsmartz dedicated in the field of industrial training in IT Software development at Mohali. It started to bridge the gap that exists in the industry between qualified and skilled people whereas at Sebiz Finishing School, students had a complete insight training of the practical aspects. The visit started with a workshop on embedded system design and robotics in the auditorium of the company. The students were taken to the development facility and were introduced to the latest software development workflow and state of the art labs.

Later, to provide them more insight in to industry business, the students were then taken to get the overview of the development office of SEBIZ ie Netsmartz Solutions. It started with the induction session, continued with queries, and concluded with the tour of the company. H.P.S. Kanda & J.P.S Kanda &  Vice Chairman of the Group said " Goal based Learning bring fruitful changes and provides a unique opportunity for students to gain an insight into a working environment" .

As per Simmi Aggarwal (CSE final year student), "this industrial visit helped us understand useful information which cannot be visualized in lectures". Anjum Mohd. Aslam (another CSE final year student), said, "We all learnt a lot about the development phases, services, and technologies. All in all, it a very fruitful visit".
