Chandigarh, 25th August:-- Residents of Sanjay Colony protested against M.P. Pawan Kumar Bansal and Councillor Satish Kainth for their failure to provide drinking water supply in the colony for the last three days. The residents took a protest march from Colony to the main road and blocked the Main road for around one hour. The Protest was lead by BJP Distt. No.4 President Shakti Prakash Devshali.
Shakti Prakash Devshali said that the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation led by Congress party failed to provide the basic amenities to the residents of city. The residents of the colony are suffering due to non-supply of drinking water for the last three days but neither local Councillor nor Member Parliament had time to look into their problem. This clearly indicates that they have no concern with the problems of general public and are busy in their corrupt practices. If the Congress party cannot provide the drinking water to the residents, they have no right to remain in power
