Chandigarh Traffic Police & Arrive Safe organise Traffic Safety Paper Reading Competition

Chandigarh, 24th August:-- The Chandigarh Traffic Police in association with NGO Arrive Safe today organised a Traffic Safety Paper Reading Competition at St. Stephens School, Sector-45, Chandigarh. Large number of private and government school kids participated in the Competition. Play on road safety was also shown during the function.

R.P. Upadhyaya, IPS, IGP-UT Chandigarh was the Chief Guest of the function. SSP (HQ)  Arun Kampani, IPS, SSP (Traffic & Security) Maneesh Chaudhry, IPS, Harman Sidhu, Chairman Arrive Safe NGO, Chief Traffic Marshal Wing Commander Grewal and many other eminent personalities attended the function.

While talking to the Media IG R.P. Upadhyaya, said that the objective of this Competition was to generate awareness about road safety and save precious human lives. School Children's are the best way to make awareness among masses. During the Function Chandigarh Traffic Police not only gave informations about the Traffic Rules, Even Guide the Childs that how to follow Road Safety Rules.
