Social Security Pension Disbursement to 21014 beneficiaries By Social Welfare Department

Chandigarh 18^th July:-- The Social Welfare Department is disbursing Social Security Pension to 21014 beneficiaries (Old Age Pension, Disability Pension, Widow Pension and Dependent Children Pension.  The beneficiaries who have not opened Bank Account and not having Aadhaar number are being disbursed payment in cash at Bal Bhawan from 12.07.2013 which will continue till 31.07.2013.  Those beneficiaries who have Aadhaar Enabled Bank Accounts are being disbursed pensions through ICICI Bank at the e-Sampark Centres in Sector 18,23,40,47, Indl. Area, Ph-I, Manimajra and e-Gram Sampark Centres at Daria, Maulijagroan, Hallomajra, Dadumajra and Dhanas.  The department through ICICI Bank has disbursed pension to 6930 Beneficiaries amounting to Rs.1,83,10,650/- upto 17.07.2013.  The pensioners who have not been able to get pension from the e-Sampark Centres due to mismatching of their finger prints will be disbursed pension in a special camp to be held from 29.07.2013 to 31.07.2013 at Bal Bhawan, Sector 23, Chandigarh
