Mohali 19th July: -- To make general public aware about cleanliness and hygiene, Shemrock Senior secondary School Mohali organised a door to door awareness campaign on cleanliness and hygiene. The School Management & Students told residents that diseases spread due to lack of cleanliness, especially during the rainy season and mansoon. They also told that it is high time to take care about hygiene because in rainy season bacteria spread very fastly
The students also carried slogans written banners i.e. "Don't throw litter here and there" "Keep your city neat and clean" "Save water Save environment" in their hands to inspire the people. Sudents also aware people to not to throw garbage outside their house rather it should be disposed at proper place .In addition to this students also informed about the Changes in nature due to our carelessness and appealed people to plant more and more plants .
While speaking at the moment Principal Retd.Air commander SK Sharma said that we should be honest towards our mother earth and come forward to protect it .After this while giving example of Uttrakhand calamity he said that nature will care us only if we will care it. Chairman AS Bajwa of the School urged students to pay special attention for cleanliness in rainy season to protect themselves from bacteria
