Chandigarh 24th July:-- Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector-26, Chandigarh started new academic session. Principal H.S.Sohi welcomed the new students at a programme at College Gurudwara. Gurmat Vichar Sabha started with Sri Sukhmani Sahib Path & Gurubani was recited by Prof.Kulbir Singh along with students. Dr.Jaswinder Singh & Dr G S Pandher coordinated the function. During the function Mr. Sachit Khanna S/o Sh. Nisheeth Khanna & Smt. Bhavna Khanna of class BCom-II with Roll No. 2615 of our College has been awarded cash prize of Rs 5,000/- for his bravery act in a purse snatching case at Sector-43, Chandigarh. His bravery act has been well recognized by our colleague & students. A special prize and blessing has also conveyed by Justice(Retd.) A.L Bahri. Principal Sohi also motivated other students to take lessons from Mr Sachit and set new benchmark in their respective life.
