Public holiday in Faridabad on 31st July

Chandigarh 24^th July:-- Public holiday will be observed in offices, educational and other institutes of   Haryana Government, Boards and Corporations situated in the jurisdiction of the areas of poll for the offices of Panches, Sarpanches and Members of Panchayat Samitis in the State, except Faridabad, on July 31, 2013 to enable employees to cast their vote.

While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the holiday would also be observed   under section 25 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881
