Chandigarh 25th July:- MCM DAV College for Women today borganized the induction day ceremony to welcome the freshers and introduce them to the virtuous value system of the college. This unique annual feature of the college is an innovative way of making the newcomers feels at home.
The presence of famous Punjabi singer and celebrity Jazzy B and his power-packed performance instilled a new vitality into the event. He was all praises for the exceptional talent showcased by the MCM students.
To inculcate the new students into the MCM family and introduce them to the glorious history of achievements, a special presentation- Kal Aaj aur Kal was presented. The Alumna Achievers were also felicitated to pay tribute to the past achievements of college while the accomplishments of the university toppers highlighted the cherished present of MCM. The CBSE toppers admitted to various courses were introduced to motivate one and all to endeavor for excellence.
The event was packed up with infotaining activities. While a skit was performed to educate the new students about the rules and regulations of the college, dances on popular tunes added life to the event. A presentation on the utility of various add-on courses offered by the college enlightened the students about their benefits in imparting an edge to their career. The students were also guided to follow the strict anti-ragging policies of the college.
The Principal of the college said that MCM is a unique seat of learning which not only transforms the aspiring young girls into women leaders but also endeavors to produce good citizens with a strong national character.
