Chandigarh 18th July:-- After experimenting with singing through his single 'Suneha', Turbanator Harbhajan Singh has once again come out with a single called 'Meri Maa' under the Venus label. Popularly known as Bhajji, he expresses his love to his mother Avtar Kaur through this song. Lakhwinder Lucky has also sung in the song.
We wanted this song to be sung by Gurdass Mann and as he was busy, I sang this song, said Indian Crickter Bhajji while calling himself an 'anadi'. "Each word is connected to me. It does not matter how I sang the song, but its wording are close to my heart. I dedicate it to not only my mother but to all the mothers," he added.
Talking about his recent visit to Hemkunt Sahib in Uttarakhand, he said that it was a nightmarish experience for him and he will never forget the horrific sights of screaming and dying people. "I was not there at the wrong time but rains came at the wrong time. It was a sad experience. I was lucky to survive. But I will visit Hemkunt Sahib next year and pay my obeisance," he said.
The music of the album is composed by Parveen Mehra and words are penned by Sanjay Glory. Venus Group director Champak Jain said, "The world loves Bhajji and we love him too, he has recorded this single with utmost dedication and it has turned out really well, he has dedicated the song sung by him to his mother, which in itself is a very special thing."
The music video will feature Bhajji's mother along with Singh, directed by Ajay and Lovel of Colossus and choreographed by Sunil. The video is produced by Bhajji & Madaan Communication Pvt. Ltd.
