Chandigarh, Apr. 10, 2026:- In the run-up to the Allengers Gully Cricket Tournament, Chairman Sanjay Tandon and Dr. Sagar Preet Hooda, DGP, Chandigarh Police called on the Chief Minister of Haryana, Naib Singh Saini at his residence to formally extend an invitation for the opening ceremony of the tournament. The fourth edition of the Allengers Gully Cricket is being organised by UT Cricket Association in collaboration with Chandigarh Police and the opening ceremony is scheduled for April 17 at Cricket Stadium, Sector 16, Chandigarh.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the Chief Minister about the objectives of the Gully Cricket initiative which aims to promote grassroots cricket while fostering community engagement and youth participation. They also highlighted the growing popularity of the tournament and its role in providing a platform for budding cricketers.
Saini appreciated the efforts of the organizers in promoting sports at the grassroots level and encouraging young talent.
Also present on the occasion include Saraansh Tandon, President, Hari Singh Khurana, Secretary, Alok Krishan, Treasurer, Devender Sharma, CEO and Ravinder Singh Billa, Co-Chairman. Gully Cricket.
