Kurali, Feb.14, 2026:-Brookfield International School, Siswan Road, Kurali, organized an impactful workshop on the theme "Moral Education through Sports and Competitions", keeping in view the holistic development of students. The workshop session, conducted under the guidance of CBSE, focused on the vital role of sports in shaping students' personalities, instilling discipline, and teaching essential life skills.
During the workshop, emphasis was laid on the fact that sports are not limited to physical fitness alone but also play a crucial role in character building. Activities on the field help inculcate values such as teamwork, leadership, patience, fairness, and mutual respect. These qualities are essential in shaping students into responsible and ethical citizens.
School President Manav Singla welcomed the teachers from various schools and, in his address, stated that the institution's goal is not merely to impart bookish knowledge but to ensure the overall development of students. He highlighted that lessons learned on the playground—such as accepting defeat with courage and celebrating victory with humility—prepare children to face life's bigger challenges with confidence. He further reiterated that Brookfield School remains committed to academic excellence along with moral and emotional development.
During the session, teachers were also trained on how to integrate moral values into daily sports activities so that students can learn meaningful life lessons in an engaging manner. Such initiatives reflect Brookfield School's commitment to world-class education and holistic learning.
