Students Equipped with Confidence Building and Industry-Standard Skills

Mohali, July 18, 2025:-Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Phase 2, successfully organized a ten-day Professional Readiness Workshop. The aim of this workshop was to equip students with soft skills and industry-standard competencies. The series featured engaging and high-quality sessions conducted by renowned educators such as Dr. Viddhi Miglani, Ritesh Watts, Ms. Preeti Raina, Hitesh Gulati, Dr. Sneha Sharma, Ms. Ravjot Kaur, Ms. Ivneet Kaur, Ms. Priyanka Khanna, and Ms. Bhawanpreet Kaur.

Over the ten days, the workshop focused on key topics including Confidence Building, IT & AI Skills, Office Etiquette, Resume Writing, LinkedIn Profile Optimization, Group Discussions, Mock Interviews, Communication Skills, and Personal Grooming & First Impressions.

A special attraction of the workshop was the practical session on Corporate and Dining Etiquettes held at Hotel Aroma on the penultimate day. Here, students learned the ethical standards of dining in a modern business context. On the final day, Ms. Bhawanpreet Kaur conducted a Group Discussion and Personal Interview session, which strengthened students' communication, presentation, and interview abilities.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, Gian Jyoti, shared her thoughts, stated that this 10-day workshop demonstrates our commitment to not just limiting students to pure academics, but also focusing on making them professionally ready citizens. The enthusiastic response received from the students has proven the importance of this workshop.

The workshop concluded with an award and certificate distribution ceremony, where students with 100% attendance were honored by the Dean (Academics) and Coordinating Faculty.
