GJIMT, Celebrates Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign Week

Mohali, Oct.06, 2024:--Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) celebrated the Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign Week, hosting a variety of activities to promote cleanliness and community engagement. Throughout the week, different events took place at campus, where students not only cleaned the premises but also the surrounding areas. They actively raised awareness about the importance of cleanliness in Phase 2, Mohali Market.

On the final day of the campaign, a vibrant Flash Mob was performed by 50 enthusiastic NSS volunteers. Through lively and energetic dance routines, the volunteers aimed to spread the message of cleanliness and sanitation. The flash mob was set to the popular local song "Charche Mohali Shehar De", adding a regional flavor to the engaging awareness activity. The event saw the presence of notable dignitaries including Dipankar Garg, PCS, Joint Commissioner of MC Mohali, Ranjeet Kumar, Assistant Commissioner, Manpreet Singh, Assistant Commissioner, and Jagjeet Singh Judge, Assistant Commissioner, among others from the Municipal Corporation of Mohali.

GJIMT Director Dr. Aneet Bedi attended the event, supporting the initiative. The event concluded with a public pledge, led by the dignitaries, to maintain cleanliness in the city. Following the pledge, pamphlets on proper waste disposal and sanitation practices were distributed to the attendees.
