Chandigarh, Sept.11, 2024:--An Brillaintelly Quickire 85 not out runs in just 72 balls enabled Rann Star Cricket Club , Delhi beat Bihar Players-11 by 7 wickets in the 29th All india JP Atray Cricket Tournament cricket tournament played here today at TDL Cricket Stadium, Panchkula .Sujal Singh ( brilliantelly quikfire 85 not out runs in 72 balls including 1 six & 13 fours ) of Rann Star Cricket Club, Delhi was declared Man of the Match Award. Sh.Naveen Sharma , Asstt.Labour Commissioner of Haryana was Chief Guest & Distribute the Man of the Match Award to Sujal Singh
Batting first Bihar players-11 team scored 189 runs all out in 42 3 overs. Opener batsman Raghav Angra played sensible innings of 70 runs in 98 balls , Gaurav scored 30 runs & Gopi Kishan scored 23 runs.for bowling side Pawan Negi & Vaibhav Kandpal both claimed 3-3 wickets each .Rahul Chaudhary claimed 2 wickets & Akhil Chaudhary & Raghuvendra Dagar boths claimed 1-1 wicket each. Chasing the target Rann Star Cricket Club , Delhi achieved the target 190 runs in just 22 2 overs with the loss of 3 wickets only. Opener batsman Sujal Singh played briliantelly unbeaten innings of 85 runs in just 72 balls and Quickfire 61 runs in just 40 balls by Yash Dalal ,Keshav Dalal scored 21 runs.for bowling side Shashi , ManMohan & Sahaj Boths claimed 1-1 wicket each
In the 2nd match of the day played at Dhruv Pandove Cricket Stadium, Patiala a low scoring match Soni Cricket Club beat Indian Railways by 6 wickets. An accurate mediam pace bowling by Arun Chaprana ( claimed 4 wickets ) of Soni Cricket Club, Chandigarh was declared Man of the match. after winning the toss & batting first Indian Railways cricket team bundled all out only 97 runs in 29.4 overs .Raj Chaudhary scored 22 runs , Samarth Vyas scored 21 runs .for bowling side Soni Cricket Club Arun Chaprana claimed 4 wickets , Yogesh kumar & Harshit claimed boths 3 -3 wickets each.in reply chasing the low total Soni Cricket achieved the target 98 runs in overs with the loss of 4 wickets. Parmod Chandela scored 58 runs & Ayush Doseja scored 32 not out runs.for bowling side Shivam Chaudhary, Akash Pandey, Sharma & Raj Chaudhary all claimed 1-1 wicket each.
