Amloh, March 24, 2021:- To spread awareness regarding Tuberculosis among the people of Sounti Village, an event was organized on the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day 2021 by Desh Bhagat University School of nursing. Students of all nursing classes from the faculty of nursing DBU, Mandi Gobindgarh participated in the event. Chancellor of DBU Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur congratulated the staff and students of Nursing for the noble activity.
Dr. Zora Singh motivated the staff and students of the University for such Activities with a noble cause.
Giving the details of the event, a spokesperson of the University said here today that the theme of World TB Day 2021 was 'The Clock is Ticking' conveys the sense that the world is running out of time to act on the commitments to end TB made by global leaders.
He further said that the role-play was organized by B.Sc nursing 2nd-year students and health talk was given by students of GNM 2nd year and B.sc nursing 3rd-year students, posters and slogans on the theme are also display by students of all classes.
This program was coordinate by Dr. Rajwant Kaur Randhawa.
