Energy Conservation Day Observed at Desh Bhagat University

Chandigarh Dec. 16, 2020:- School of Business Management, Commerce & Economics of Desh Bhagat University observed Energy Conservation day. To celebrate the day quiz competition, poster making competition & Seminar on "Save Energy to Build a Better India" was organized. The program was intended to create an awareness and sensitivity among students and staff members regarding energy conservation. Students of MBA, MCOM, BBA and BCOM participated in the event.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor DBU explained the key reasons behind energy conservation and said that if we wish to make our nation independent, we must effectively utilize the energy and this can only happen by adjusting our behavior and habits. We must use the technologies in which less energy is utilized energy saving light bulbs, thermostats and constellation connect are few examples of technology for energy saving.

Dr. Tejinder Kaur, Pro Chancellor DBU said that Energy is the most precious power to lose, as a responsible citizen of the nation it is our duty towards our country and for our future generation to provide a healthy planet.

Dr. Shalini Gupta, Vice Chancellor DBU, expressed gratitude and appreciated the efforts of students.
