Chandigarh Nov. 12, 2020:- As a unique initiative to promote urban cycling in the tricity, and to give a message of clean and pollution free Diwali , Cyclegiri club today made a rangoli in sector 17 plaza . The beautiful rangoli was made by the winners of rangoli contest held on Sunday, nikhil, eshita, dhruvika, puneet, and depicted the vibrant culture of Chandigarh, by showcasing the well laid cycling tracks, Rock garden, Sukhna Lake, student centre and the plaza.
Chief Guest Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, President Chandigarh Traders Association Sector-17 visited the site , applauded the efforts of the artists , lit earthen lamp and candles , to wish all a green Diwali .Everyone present took an oath of preserving the environment of the city , by adopting cycling.
