Chandigarh August 17, 2020:- Desh Bhagat Global School celebrated 74th Independence Day with deep patriotism and fervor. To keep the patriotic spirit high, several events were organized i.e. Tricolour food presentation, Patriotic Dress Up, Patriotic Song/ Poem, Skit online. Students, through their act, tried to rewind the history and depicted the life stories of Sardar Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru .
Chairman, Dr Zora Singh, Desh Bhagat Global School, said that Independence Day reminds us of our valiant freedom fighters who fought for the nation and sacrificed their lives bravely. He remembered his father Sardar Lal Singh, who contributed to the freedom of our country and was awarded Tamra Patra for his contribution by the Government.
Vice President, Dr. Sandeep Singh said that we should uphold the values of revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and take pledge to make our country free from the poverty, corruption, terrorism, communalism and casteism.
