This blood donation camp was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Head of Department Cardiology, P.G.I. Chandigarh. On this occasion, he said that blood is given to the needy and Nirankari Mission is the foremost organization in this noble task of donating blood. Every person should take care of their health and should take a nutritious diet on everyday basis so that there is no lack of blood in the body.
Dr. R.R. Sharma, Professor and Head of Blood Transfusion,Department,P.G.I.Chandigarh,also assured the donors that since blood donation camps are being organized by Nirankari Mission, there is no lack of blood in the P.G.I. blood bank and that the Sant Nirankari Mission has played an important role in this social welfare activity, in the world. The devotees of Nirankari Mission are presenting an example in this way by making full contribution to the society through service and social work.
Parminder Rai,(Retired) Director General of Police, Haryana was also present on the occasion.
K.K.Kashyap,Zonal Incharge, Chandigarh said that in the year 2019-20, more than 5 thousand units of blood have been donated in the Chandigarh Zone by Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation. Today, this 26th blood donation camp has been organized. He said that giving a meaningful form to Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj's message "Blood should not flow in drains, but in the same way, the present Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj is also establishing peace, brotherhood and unity in the world.". Satguru Mata Ji is working to make humans aware of God and to connect with each other.
The camp was conducted with the help of 20 doctors and paramedical staff led by Prof. Suchet Sachdev of P.G.I. Blood Bank and Paramedical Staff led by Dr. Simarjeet, Incharge of the Blood Bank team of Government Hospital Sector 16.
Pawan Kumar of the 40 Area and a team of doctors and blood donors, devotees as well as K.K. Kashyap, Zonal Incharge, Kh.Sanchalak Sh. Atam Prakash Ji, Sanyojak Sh. Navneet Pathak Ji, S.S. Banga,Mukhi,N.K.Gupta Mukhi thanked for contributing to the success of this blood donation camp.
