Chandigarh 17th May:- The sudden disappearance of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj has left every devotee of the Sant Nirankari Mission shocked and shaken. Even their complete trust in God and deep sense of accepting the divine will seem to be wavering under the strain it is causing. No doubt, they believe that Satguru in his formless form is ever with them and is beyond death, but the love and care they received from Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj during the past 36 years is something they are failing to suppress.
This could be witnessed today right from the moment the mortal remains of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj landed in Delhi, to their arrival at Baba Ji's residence and then being placed in Samagam Ground No.8 near Sant Nirankari Colony for Antim Darshan by devotees assembled from Chandighar, Manimajra, Mohali, Panchkula Thousands of devotees & all parts of the country and abroad.
It may be recalled that Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj merged into the Almighty God in a car crash near Montreal in Canada on May 13, 2016. His son-in-law Avneet Setya also succumbed to his injuries later the same day. His mortal remains too reached Delhi by the same flight and are displayed for Antim Darshan in Ground No.8.
Thousands of devotees have already started marching past the bodies and having the last glimpse. Earlier, after receiving the bodies at airport, they were brought to Baba Ji's residence where the members of the holy family, their relatives and senior Parbandhaks and Pracharaks of the Mission assembled from across the country and several places abroad paid their respects.
The Antim Darshan will continue round the clock up to the morning of Wednesday, May 18, 2016 when they will be taken to Nigam Bodh Ghat for last rites.
The last journey will start at 8.00 a.m. and conclude at Nigam Bodh Ghat where cremation will take place at CNG Crematorium at 12.00 Noon. Later the same day a special congregation will be held in Samagam Ground No. 2 opposite Sant Nirankari Sarovar Complex Burari Road to pay tributes to Baba Ji and take inspiration from the life of Avneet Setya.
