MCM Bids Adieu to Final Year Students

Chandigarh 15^th March:- Emotions ran high as MCM DAV College for Women hosted a remarkable Farewell for the final year students. The Farewell was illuminated with the presence of Prof. Parvinder Singh, Controller of Examinations, Panjab University, Chandigarh as the Chief Guest and Prof. Meenakshi Malhotra, University Business School, Panjab University as the Guest of Honour.

A cultural extravaganza with plethora of enthralling performances mesmerized the audience. Dances from various states of the country provided a glimpse of the Incredible India while performance by the foreign students showcased the rich cultural diversity at the campus. Miss MCM Contest added the glamour quotient to the event, where the contestants personifying grace and charm sashayed down the ramp in traditional attires. Aishwarya Rishiraj was all smiles as she received the Miss MCM 2016 title while Mannat and Hashneen bagged the title of 1^st and 2^nd Runners Up respectively.  Shristi walked away with the title Ms. Graceful Walk, while Monika captivating smile won her the Ms. Charming Smile title. Saumya flowing tresses won her the title of Ms. Crowning Glory. The title of Ms. Glowing Skin went to Chavi and that of Ms. Best Attire went to Shreen.

The guests present on the occasion expressed appreciation and adulation for the superlative talent nurtured at MCM.

Principal of MCM DAV College Dr. Nisha Bhargava wished the outgoing students success and glory in life and motivated them to make the college proud by scaling greater heights. She emphasized that the responsibility of carrying forward the MCM legacy of excellence rested on their shoulders.
