Manini De Mishra Enters Zee TV’s Satrangi Sasural

Chandigarh 09^th February:- Ardent followers of Satrangi Sasural are up for a major twist as versatile actor Manini De Mishra enters the show as Vasundhara, an influential philanthropic. The proficient actor who has made a mark with her varied roles across films and television has been roped in to play an integral part in Zee TV's popular family drama. Known to opt for meaty & performance-driven roles, Manini will be seen doing a full-fledged role in the show and is quite excited to portray the challenging character in the show.

Vasundhara's entry happens at a juncture when everything seems right for the Vatsal family after having gone through a long ordeal! Manini's character is of a powerful philanthropist businesswoman with an authoritative persona who is living with her son in Mumbai. An extremely confident & flamboyant personality, Vasundhara will come across as a very jovial and a sweet talker having an aura that no one will be able to say 'no' to. But there will be more to her than meets the eye which will take the audiences by surprise.

Speaking of her role, Manini said that after doing an interesting mix of work in television & films, she was looking forward to something more challenging as an actor. It's been a while since she had done an author-backed role on television, so when she was offered the role of a high profile humanitarian, she readily agreed to do it. Apart from her interesting multilayered character, she agreed since it was an opportunity to work with Bhavna Balsaver, Farida Jalal, Sonali Sachdev again, with whom she had shared screen space before. They are an absolute pleasure to work with.Her character Vasundhara has a strong & dynamic personality but at the same time, there will be certain incidents which will create an air of mystery around my character.

Sharing her experience of shooting for the show, she further mentioned that she had already started shooting for her part and she glad to be portraying someone quite different from her earlier shows. Her character Vasundhara is stylish & modern and will be seen donning a chic look with designer saris & elegant jewellery.
