Chandigarh 08^th February: CII Chandigarh council organised a 'Workshop on Mastering the Art of Influencing' at the CII NR Region Headquarters with the aim to help the industry to understand that all successes come from initiating relationships with the right people and then strengthening those relationships by using excellent influencing skills.

Motivational Speaker and Corporate Trainer, Tapas Dasmohapatra said that success comes from initiating relationships with the right people and then strengthening those relationships by using excellent influencing skills. Using the power of body language to influence others, when and how to say no, techniques of building rapport and matching other person's body language and voice tone through Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) contributes to success. He further mentioned that our ability to build and maintain healthy relationships is the single most important factor in how we get along in every area of life. The use of simple and effective words, especially in the business communication are playing very important role in influencing others. A person's energy should be harnessed for constructive purposes which would create a positive outlook and persona. In the current scenario, the success of the organization lies not only in its relations with its customers but internally with its employees. It's the attitude of a person that makes a difference in his and his relations with his team, with the customers, with his family and vice versa.
