Chandigarh 18th July:- The Holy Wonder School Mohali, Celebrated multifarious cultures and festivals to symbolize unity and brotherhood. Students performed a beautiful dance depicting reaffirmed faith in God. Later, a skit was performed depicting muslim culture and how the festival is celebrated by them was staged .Speech competition was also organised at the moment. The beginning of the function stimulated one's senses and by the exodus, the audience was completely captivated. The environment was filled with colours of happiness.
While speaking at the moment Director Holy Wonder School Ashween Arora accentuating the fact that most religions perpetuate similar tenets and in our multicultural society we need to instill and enforce the universal values of brotherhood, tolerance, peace, compassion, patriotism and solidarity in our children. She further added that this celebration was an effort to sensitize students towards living in harmony in a diverse society. They are taught to learn to use their thinking ability and skills to work for a safe and better world and to live in harmony with their fellow beings.
