Chandigarh 18th July:- Thalassaemic Children Welfare Association (Regd.), PGI Chandigarh organized its 7th and last blood donation camp of this summer season at Zakir Hall, Research Block A of the PGI, Chandigarh. This camp was organized in collaboration with Property Consultants Association (Regd.), Chandigarh. 392 units of blood were collected during the camp.
Anurag Agarwal, IAS, Home Secretary, UT, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He extended his blessings upon blood donors, while distributing mementos to them. He also lauded the contribution of the Property Consultants Association for sponsoring this camp. He said there is no other social cause as noble as blood donation and exhorted the members of the Association to participate in this even on regular basis. This also adds to the credibility of the organizations like their's and inspires others to do their bit.
