Flavours of Dakshin:Hotel Bella Vista to organize Tastes Of The South Food Festival from 17 - 26 July

Chandigarh 16th July:- The Welcom Hotel Bella Vista,Panchkula is organising South Indian Food Festival "Discover Dakshin - the celebrated tastes of authentic South Indian cuisine" with Master Chef Senthil Kumar, at the Serenade Pavilion. Master Chef Senthil Kumar from the Sheraton New Delhi, is in city to showcase his unique culinary skills and take the diners on a journey sampling some of the best Dakshin cuisine.

Chef Senthil kumar currently works at the South Indian Specialty restaurant "Dakshin" at the Sheraton New Delhi hotel. He was trained under the South Indian cuisine Master Chef Vellu, who played the role of his mentor. Chef Senthil kumar has gained expertise in Chettinadu Cuisine and Mangalore Cuisine and will showcase his specialities. The Dakshin a signature restaurant has also won several prestigious awards like the Times Food Awards and the HT Crystal Awards.

A cuisine promotion unique for its authentic presentation of some of the finest creations from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. Master Chef Senthil will be featured exclusively at the Welcom Hotel Bella Vista from 17 to 26 June, 2015.

As part of our Kitchens of India theme, with this promotion we are offering the discerning diner from the tri-city of Chandigarh-Panchkula-Mohali, a combination of the boutique ambience of our hotel, excellence in service and value pricing complementing the authentic flavours of the much celebrated Dakshin cuisine. He further said that the cuisine promotion will feature special Dakshin dinner buffets on the weekends from 17 to 19 Julyand 24 to 26 July. In between, from 20 to 23 July a special set menu will be offered at the table at Serenade Pavilion.

Chef Senthil kumar said that signature South Indian specialty dishes being showcased at the promotion include starters like Charkha AlvenmadePodi, MeenVaruvaland DakshinYera. For main course there are specialities like VeinchinaMamsam, PuttaKokula Masala, Kori Gassi and Andhra Kodi Biryani. For Dessert lovers, there are delectable favourites like BadamHalwa, ElneerPayasam, AdaiPradhaman and Basundi.
