Dikshant International School Celebrates Man walks on Moon Day

Chandigarh 21st July:- Students of primary section of Dikshant International school concluded the ongoing Science and Maths week with a celebration of 'Man walks on Moon Day' on Jul 20. It was on this date in the year 1969, that American astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the surface of moon. Students in a special assembly created a scene of live interview after three astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin Jr. returned from their historic space journey.  Dressed up in space suits and standing next to their space ship, they answered some very interesting questions to the enacting reporters, highlighting their experiences of space voyage. They also enriched everyone with some unsaid facts about Apolo-11 mission.
