Chandigarh 05th July:- To keep city beautiful and live up to its reputation of being the most beautiful city of India Centre of Brahma Kumari's Sector 51 today started a keep the city clean drive. The Drive was started by Brahma Kumari sister Sarika. When sister Sarika took round of the city, she found the city full of garbage all around, and the basic reason was unconscious littering by all citizens of the city. Brahma Kumari sister Sarika from Sector 51 centre today started a drive So in order to keep the city beautiful she started a drive called" CITY BEAUTIFUL'S DREAM:"KEEP ME CLEAN". She has a simple concept which touches all.
Sister Sarika said that if your mind is clean, you will like clean atmosphere around you. Incase you have loads of things going on in your mind and you are disturbed all the time, then you will feel comfortable with rubbish outside also. She said that now, it's time to clean our inside and outside at the same time, so that, we start becoming comfortable in the new and beautiful environment we create ourselves.
Sister Sarika took the first step of cleaning the sector 43 bus stand today and has wowed to clean the cities all sectors before the end of 2015.The idea was to kindle the fire of cleanliness in the mind of common man to not to litter the garbage around you. So that in future no such type of cleanliness drive needed. She was supported by many students from Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University and many more volunteers have also offerd her help in support for her project and drive in future. The first initiative was fully supported by the staff of sector 43 bus stand who have promised to bring this awareness to everyone who ever is seen littering in the bus stand in future, so that it becomes a permanent drive to keep our area clean and beautiful.
