CGC, Jhanjeri formed “Sarvaswa Club” to inculcate moral & ethical values in students

Mohali 25th September:-- --- Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri formed "Sarvaswa Club" for the development of overall personality of students and inculcate moral & ethical values in them. As many as 500 students have become its members. In the very first function of this club, apart from songs, dances and other cultural activities, students also gave their views in lectures on the most controversial topic of the day i.e. "Should Juveniles be given the benefit of their age if they indulge in heinous crimes like rape or murder, Later,Akashdeep Grewal of CSE, 2nd year & Anmol Singh of ME 1st year won prizes for speaking on this topic. Sangam Rana, Gaurav Anand & Mohit Bharti were the winner of Quiz whereas Akashdeep Grewal, Sukhminderjit Singh and Arzoo Gupta for Paper Reading and Suraj Kumar, Ranvijay and Anurag for Just A Minute (JAM).

While Distributing prizes to the winners, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC said that speaking fluently and expressing one's views freely are extremely important qualities of a student. Such students will be the most successful persons in their life.G.D. Bansal, Director General said that participation in such functions polishes the hidden talents of the students.
