Chandigarh, Sept.15, 2024:--दिल्ली चैलेंजर्स क्रिकेट टीम ने आज यहां ध्रुव पांडोव क्रिकेट स्टेडियम, पटियाला में खेले गए 29वें अखिल भारतीय जेपी अत्रे क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट में हिमाचल प्रदेश क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन को 183 रनों के विशाल अंतर से हरा दिया। दिल्ली चैलेंजर्स टीम के कप्तान कैफ अहमद (72 गेंदों में 74 रन) को मैन ऑफ द मैच घोषित किया गया।

पीसीए स्टेडियम, मुल्लांपुर में खेला जाने वाला दिन का दूसरा मैच पीसीए कोल्ट्स और बीपीसीएल के बीच बारिश के कारण रद्द कर दिया गया और दोनों टीमों को 2-2 अंक मिले। रात भर हुई बारिश और मैदान गीला होने के कारण  20 ओवर की पारी में शुरू हुआ।

बीपीसीएल ने पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए 20 ओवर में 7 विकेट पर 131 रन बनाए। आरुष सभरवाल ने 50 रन, गीतांश खेड़ा ने 38 रन और भव्य अत्रे ने 18 रन बनाए। गेंदबाजी की ओर से पीसीए कोल्ट्स के गेंदबाज मनीष श्योराण ने 4 विकेट लिए, जबकि सुखदीप बाजवा और सोहराब धालीवाल ने 1 विकेट

-1 विकेट लिया 131 रनों के लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए पीसीए कोल्ट्स की टीम ने तेज शुरुआत की और 8.4 ओवर में 1 विकेट के नुकसान पर 77 रन बनाए और भारी बारिश शुरू हो गई और मैच रद्द कर दिया गया। दोनों टीमों ने 2-2 अंक साझा किए।

पटियाला ध्रुव पांडोव स्टेडियम में दिल्ली चैलेंजर्स क्रिकेट टीम ने टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी की और 50 ओवर में 8 विकेट पर 299 रन बनाए।ओपनर बल्लेबाज शिवम शर्मा ने 79 गेंदों में 3 छक्कों और 9 चौकों सहित 75 रनों की असाधारण पारी खेली, कप्तान की पारी में कैफ अहमद ने 72 गेंदों में 74 रन बनाए, ललित यादव ने 40 रन बनाए, गौरव चौहान ने 39 रन बनाए, शाकिर हबीब गांधी ने 32 रन बनाए। 

रन और ऋत्विक रॉय ने 18 रन बनाए। गेंदबाजी की ओर से एचपीसीए के गेंदबाज मुकुल नेगी ने 3 विकेट, पारस धनैक ने 2 विकेट लिए।

जवाब में 299 रनों के विशाल लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए एचपीसीए की टीमें 30.4 ओवर में 9 विकेट पर 116 रन ही बना सकीं। ऋत्विज ने 25 रन, उज्जवल शर्मा ने 23 रन और मुकुल नेगी ने 22 रन बनाए। गेंदबाजी के लिए दिल्ली के गेंदबाज आयुष जम्वाल ने 4 विकेट लिए ,  शिवम सिंह ने 3 विकेट लिए जबकि ललित यादव और विकास सिंह ने 1-1 विकेट लिया।

Mohali, Sept. 15, 2024:-As many as 2000+ fitness enthusiasts of 30 gyms from tricity participated in HPL.

In order to inspire the youth towards gym fitness, the first of its kind event in tricity region - High Performer League (HPL) was organized with the support of Tynor Sports at Amity University and organised by Royal Sportsters. 

After a preliminary round spread nearly two months, the grand finale of HPL was organized on Sunday with the massive participations of fitness and wellness enthusiasts.  Nearly 2000+ enthusiast from 30 gyms of Tricity participated, who were later short screened and invited for the grand finale held at Amity University, Mohali.

Trident Gym, Mohali won the title while Athelonics stood second.  365 gym had to be consoled with third spot. Meanwhile, Sukhchain of Shred House got the first place for onboarding maximum and successful client registrations while Prince of Trident Gym emerged as the runner-up. Gagan of Powerhouse got the third prize. Apart from these categories, competitions of beginners, professionals, veterans in categories of race, CrossFit, Deadlift, Tyre Race were organized in the grand finale round.

Gully Cricket Tournament Strengthens Cricketing Culture in City: Sanjay Tondon

Chandigarh, Sept. 15, 2024:--Gully cricket tournaments, which have been successfully organized over the last two years, have proved to be a boon for the UT Cricket Association for strengthening cricketing culture in the city. The 100% jump in players registrations as compared to last year is a testimony of its success. This was lauded by Sanjay Tandon, President, UT Cricket Association during the 44^th Annual General Meeting of UTCA held on Sunday at Chandigarb. While revealing the figures, Tandon informed that there had been a tremendous response  from youth for the cricket with an excellent platform like Gully Cricket Tournament, infrastructure laid by BCCI and efficient support staff. He said during the last season 2023-24, a total of 1400 players got registered, against the 2820 registered in 2024-25. The tournament, which has been registered in the Asia Book of Records, is now a case study for other cricket associations. For UTCA, this tournament served as the bench strength for the BCCI tournament. Last year, the selectors shortlisted 35 cricketers wherein 50 players after this year's edition. This year a total of  3072 players from 302 teams participated in the tournament organized in association with Chandigarh Police and various departments of UT Administration.

During the upcoming BCCI domestic season, Tandon informed that UTCA is hosting 59 matches this year for which they are prepared. To make the performance of the teams more effective, emphasis has been laid on fitness and training. By organizing regular camps, the support staff are making their strong points more effective and working on their weak points. Apart from camps, UTCA has provided exposure to the players through inter-state friendly matches, participation in tournaments like JP Atray memorial tournament and NCA workshops. Motivational and dietary sessions are also being conducted for the mental fitness of the teams so that they can handle pressure situations during the match. He said that last season UTCA had participated in 91 matches of 15 different tournaments of the BCCI. Despite the rain-interrupted matches, the performance of the teams was satisfactory and this time UTCA is confident that the team is eager to perform even better.

Earlier, UTCA's Secretary Devender Sharma presented the annual report of the association while Treasurer CA Alok Krishan presented the account details to which all present members expressed their consent. 

Apex member Daniel Banerjee gave the vote of thanks. 

Present on the occasion includes Joint Secretary Ravinder Singh, Vice President Yuvraj Mahajan along with other apex and other members.

Chandigarh, Sept.15, 2024:- चण्डीगढ़ महिला कांग्रेस ने सैक्टर 35 में स्थानीय अध्यक्षा नन्दिनी हुडा के नेतृत्व में भारतीय  महिला कांग्रेस  का 40वां स्थापना दिवस बड़े उत्साह और जोश के साथ  मनाया।

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता स्थानीय सांसद मनीष  तिवारी और कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष एच.एस लक्की ने की। इस अवसर पर अखिल  भारतीय  महिला कांग्रेस  की महासचिव नीतू वर्मा खास तौर  पर मौजूद थीं।

कार्यक्रम में शहर के कोने कोने से आई महिलाओं को सम्बोधित  करते हुए  मनीष  तिवारी ने कहा कि जब प्रशासन शहर में नई बेस्ड चेंजज़ पर हर मांग खारिज  करता है। उद्यमियों और व्यापारियों को भारी भरकम पेनल्टी लगाने के नोटिस  भेजता है या गरीबों को आवंटित  मकानों को मालिकाना हक नहीं देता है तो इसका सबसे ज्यादा नुकसान महिलाओं को होता है। उन्होंने प्रशासन फ़ैसले लेते समय मानवीय पहलुओं को ध्यान  में रखने का आग्रह किया।

इस अवसर पर एच.एस लक्की ने शहर के विकास मे महिलाओं के योगदान  की प्रशंसा करते हुए  कहा कि हम शीघ्र ही हर बूथ पर कम से कम बीस महिलाओं की भर्ती कर पाएंगे।

ऑल इंडिया महिला कांग्रेस की स्थापना दिवस पर बोलते हुए चंडीगढ़ महिला कांग्रेस की अध्यक्ष नंदिता हुडा ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के सुंदर सुनहरे एवं गौरवमयी इतिहास के पन्नो में साल 1984 में महिला कांग्रेस की इकाई की स्थापना हुई। वैसे तो महिलाओं की भागीदारी कांग्रेस में देश के स्वंतंत्रता संग्राम में अति महत्वपूर्ण रही है । बात चाहे रानीलक्ष्मीबाई की हो या सरोजिनी नायडू या कमला नेहरू या अरुणा आसफ अली या ऊषा मेहता इन सभी महान विभूतियों का अतुलनीय योगदान हमारे इतिहास में स्वर्ण अक्षरों में दर्ज है ।

भारत की प्रथम महिला प्रधानमंत्री श्रीमती इंदिरा गांधी जी ने 1984 में महिला कांग्रेस की नींव रखी। इस प्लेटफार्म को बनाने का उनका उद्देश था, महिलाओं को समाज में एक मजबूत स्थान देने का, उन्हें आर्थिक और राजनीतिक रूप से मजबूत करने का।

 इंदिरा गांधी जी के बाद प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गांधी हमेशा महिलाओं के पक्ष में रहे, उनका मानना था कि महिलाएं समाज का अहम हिस्सा है उन्हें उनका अधिकार मिले, समान अवसर मिले और इसी नियत से उन्होंने पंचायती राज में महिलाओं का प्रतिनिधित्व सुनिश्चित करते हुए 33 परसेंट स्थान आरक्षित किए और आज कई राज्यों में तो पंचायतों में महिलाओं का प्रतिनिधित्व 50% तक है।

हम सभी जानते हैं कि जहां भी महिलाओं को मौका मिला है उन्होंने बेहतर करने का प्रयास किया है।  कांग्रेस पार्टी एक ऐसी पार्टी है जिसने देश को पहली महिला प्रधानमंत्री, पहली महिला मुख्यमंत्री, पहली महिला स्पीकर और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर महिलाओं को जगह देने काम किया है।

 वर्तमान समय में जब हम देखते हैं कि महिलाओं की स्थिति निरंतर गिर रही है, आज समाज में महिलाएं सुरक्षित नहीं है ना वह घर में सुरक्षित है, ना कार्यालय में। आए दिन रेप जैसी घटनाएं आम हो गई है और आलम यहां तक आ पहुंचा है कि महिलाओं को निर्वस्त्र करके सड़कों पर भी दौड़ाया गया और रेपिस्टों को 15 अगस्त के दिन रिहा करके फूलमाला से उनका स्वागत किया गया। देश के लिए गौरव लेकर आने वाली हमारी खिलाड़ी बेटियों को सड़कों पर घसीटा जाता है।

इस लिए अब समय आ गया है जब महिलाओं को अपने अधिकारों की लड़ाई खुद से लड़नी होगी, हमें पूरी हिम्मत से अपनी आवाज उठाने की जरूरत है और यह तभी संभव होगा जब महिलाओं की राजनीतिक भागीदारी बढ़ेगी। महिला कांग्रेस ने माननीय अध्यक्ष श्रीमती अलका लांबा जी के नेतृत्व में यह संकल्प लिया है कि जहां कहीं भी महिलाओं के खिलाफ कोई अन्याय होगा तो हम सब एकजुट होकर आवाज उठाएंगे और जब तक न्याय नहीं मिल जाता अपने हक की यह लड़ाई सड़क से संसद तक हम जारी रखेंगे। मेरी बहनों के लिए एक और खास सूचना है कि आज हमने मेंबरशिप ड्राइव शुरू की है। हम सारी बहनों को निवेदन करेंगे कि महिला कांग्रेस की सदस्यता लें और उसे मजबूत करने का काम करें क्योंकि हम लड़ेंगे और जीतेंगे यही हमारा संकल्प है।

Chandigarh, Sept.14, 2024:--सामाजिक व जनकल्याण में संलिप्त संस्था वॉइस ऑफ यूनिटी ने चंडीगढ़ स्थित सॉलिटेयर होटल में संस्था की फाउंडर व समाज सेवी जया गोयल के नेतृत्व में एक और जहाँ ट्राईसिटी की घरेलू महिलाओं के बीच कुकिंग, आर्ट क्राफ्ट व पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिता करवाई गई वहीं दूसरी और संस्था द्वारा इस अवसर पर सदाबहार फिल्मी गानों का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें अव्यवसायिक गायकों ने एक से बढ़ कर सदाबहार गाना गा गाकर श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।

आयोजन में मुख्यातिथि के तौर पर यशवंत कृष्ण मित्तल व मनुज ने शिरकत की। इस दौरान उनके साथ सम्मानित अतिथियों में प्रदीप वर्मा, वीना सोफ्त, आर सी दास, रमेश अनेजा,  कर्नल विक्रम सिंह, डी पी शर्मा, अरुण अरोड़ा, उपस्थित थे, जिन्होंने डीप प्रज्वलित कर आयोजन की शुरुआत की।

वहीं दूसरी ओर कार्यक्रम में अव्यवसायिक गायकों ने विभिन्न सदाबहार फिल्मी गीतों और गानों को गाकर श्रोताओं को अपने मधुर गायन से आनंदित किया। गायकों ने अपने गायन में सदाबहार फिल्मी गानों मेंचंदन से बदन; ये रातें ये मौसम; पिया तू अब तो आजा; न जाओ संया; ए दिल मुझे बता दे; हाल कैसा है जनाब का; सांसो की जरूरत है; जैसे लगभग 35 गानों को गाकर वातावरण को संगीतमय बना दिया।

इस अवसर पर जया गोयल ने अपने प्रारम्भिक भाषण में संस्था द्वारा किए गए समाज कल्याण कार्यों का विवरण दिया और कार्यक्रम में आए सभी गणमान्य और श्रोतागणों का आभार जताया, उन्होंने कहा कि इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने के लिए वे ओम सन्स और जेपी हेल्थकेयर का आभार प्रकट करती हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य अव्यवसायिक गायकों और प्रतियोगिता में हिस्सों लेने वाली महिलाओं को मंच प्रदान करना था, ताकि वे अपने अंदर के छुपे हुनर को जगजाहिर कर सके। 

कार्यक्रम के अंत में स्कूल की दो छात्राओं द्वारा कथक प्रस्तुत किया गया जिसको सभी ने खूब सराहा।

Chandigarh, Sept.14, 2024:-बिन्दु सिंह को आज सर्वसम्मति से पंजाब चंडीगढ़ जर्नलिस्ट यूनियन की चंडीगढ़ इकाई की पहली महिला अध्यक्ष चुना गया। इसके साथ ही जगतार सिद्धू और तरलोचन सिंह को संरक्षक, जय सिंह छिब्बर को चेयरमैन और बलविंदर सिंह सिपरे को सह-चेयरमैन बनाया गया। इसी तरह भूपिंदर मलिक को महासचिव, दर्शन सिंह खोखर और गुरुउपदेश भुल्लर को वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष, आरएस लिब्रेट और अजैब सिंह औजला को उपाध्यक्ष, नंदप्रीत सिंह और संदीप लाधुका को सचिव, मुकेश अटवाल को संगठन सचिव और आतिश गुप्ता को कोषाध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया है। इसके अलावा कार्यकारिणी सदस्यों में सुखविंदर सिंह सिद्धू, उज्ज्वल सतनाम, कुलवंत कौर, दया नंद शर्मा, सुरजीत सती, राकेश शर्मा, सुधीर तंवर, नवदीप छाबड़ा, मुनीश कटारिया, जसविंदर सिंह रंधावा, हरबंस सोढ़ी, सतिंदरपाल सिद्धू, गुरमिंदर बब्बू, दीपक शर्मा चनारथल और मदनदीप शामिल हैं।

इससे पहले यूनियन की चंडीगढ़ इकाई के महासचिव बिंदू सिंह ने यूनियन द्वारा किए गए कार्यों की रिपोर्ट पेश की और कोषाध्यक्ष भूपिंदर मलिक ने वित्तीय रिपोर्ट पेश की।

 इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए यूनियन के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बलबीर सिंह झंडू ने कहा कि पत्रकारों के साथ हो रही गुंडागर्दी के खिलाफ पत्रकारों को एकजुट होकर आवाज उठाना जरूरी है।

यूनियन के संरक्षक जगतार सिंह सिद्धू और तरलोचन सिंह ने कहा कि समय-समय पर सरकारें पत्रकारों की आवाज को दबाने की कोशिश कर रही हैं। इसलिए सभी का एकजुट होना बहुत जरूरी है। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान समय में पत्रकारों के अस्तित्व पर बड़ा खतरा मंडरा रहा है। जिसे बचाने के लिए सभी को आवाज उठाने की जरूरत है। 

इस अवसर पर यूनियन अध्यक्ष जय सिंह छिब्बर ने उनकी अध्यक्षता में किये गये कार्यों पर प्रकाश डाला। साथ ही उन्होंने सभी से एक मंच पर एकत्रित होकर वर्तमान समय में पत्रकारों की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए आवाज उठाने की अपील की।

Hindi Diwas Samaroh organized at Government College

Chandigarh, Sept.14, 2024:-A poetry recitation competition in Hindi language was organized under the Hindi Day celebrations at the Government Education College, Chandigarh. The event was presided over by the Principal of the college, Dr. (Mrs.) Sapna Nanda. The program started with Swasti Vachan and Saraswati Vandana. After that, Dr. Ajay Kumar Srivastava, coordinator of the program and college dean, welcomed everyone and highlighted the importance of Hindi language.

In the competition a total of 16 students of B.Ed. ,M.Ed. participated and made the program beautiful with their melodious and emotional recitation by reciting poems on various subjects in Hindi language. The result of the competition was announced by the jury members of the program Dr. Sheojee Singh, Dr. Vandana Aggarwal and Dr. Raghubir Shastri (Alumnus). Winners of the competition were-First - Anamika (roll number 254.B.Ed. student); Second– Nancy Sharma  (Roll No.20 B.Ed. student) and Priyanshu Tiwari (Roll No. 225 B.Ed student); Third - Vaishno (Roll No. 241, B.Ed. student) and Kinshuk (Roll. No. 242, B.Ed. student) got consolation prize for his performance. Assistant Professor Dr. Ravinder Kumar presented a beautiful song on the occasion and mesmerized the audience with his melodious voice. Dr. Raghubir Shastri, Alumnus of the college also shared his views and poetry recitation in hindi.

The principal explained the practical utility of Hindi language to the students through simple examples. Principal of the college and chairperson of the program, Dr. (Mrs.) Sapna Nanda wished the college family a happy Hindi Diwas. Everyone was encouraged to work in Hindi. At the end of the program, college student Anshul presented a vote of thanks. The program concluded with the national anthem.

आयुष्मान भारत मुख्यमंत्री स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना में धांधली करने वालों पर सरकार करे उचित कार्रवाई: डॉ. प्रहलाद दुग्गल

Chandigarh, Sept.13, 2024:-पंजाब की सबसे बड़ी स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना-आयुष्मान भारत मुख्यमंत्री सेहत बीमा योजना में करोड़ों रुपये के घोटाला का पर्दाफाश अमृतसर के ईएनटी डॉ. प्रह्लाद दुग्गल ने यहां चंडीगढ़ प्रेस क्लब में एक प्रेस कांफ्रेंस के दौरान किया, साथ ही उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान और स्वास्थ्य मंत्री बलबीर सिंह से इस पर तत्काल कार्रवाई करने की अपील की। 

प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस को संबोधित करते हुए डॉ. प्रह्लाद दुग्गल ने आयुष्मान भारत मुख्यमंत्री सेहत बीमा योजना के तहत भर्ती हुए मरीजों से पवन अरोड़ा के नेतृत्व वाले ईएमसी ग्रुप ऑफ हॉस्पिटल्स द्वारा संचालित स्विफ्ट हॉस्पिटल, अमृतसर में कैशलेस स्कीम गैर-कानूनी ढंग से पैसे लेने और झूठी लैबोर्टरी रिपोर्टों के आधार पर बीमा कंपनियों से कलेम किए गए मामलों के चौंकाने वाले खुलासे किए। उन्होंने कहा कि ईएमसी ग्रुप ने उन मरीजों से पैसे लिए जिनका इलाज कैशलेस तरीके से किया जाना था और राज्य स्वास्थ्य एजेंसी से झूठे बिलों का दावा करने के लिए लैब से झूठी लैबोर्टरी रिपोर्ट तैयार करके पंजाब सरकार को करोड़ों रुपये का चूना लगाया। इन सभी तथ्यों की पुष्टि राज्य स्वास्थ्य एजेंसी, पंजाब की धोखाधड़ी-रोधी इकाई द्वारा की गई है, जिसकी जांच टीम ने ईएमसी ग्रुप हॉस्पिटल को नकली लैबोर्टरी रिपोर्ट तैयार करते हुए रंगे हाथों पकड़ा है। पवन अरोड़ा ने एसएचए जांच टीम को अस्पताल का रिकॉर्ड सौंपने से इनकार कर दिया, जिसकी जांच ईएमसी अस्पताल अमृतसर में की गई थी और इसे एसएचए ने अपनी जांच रिपोर्ट में भी दर्ज किया था।

डॉ. दुग्गल ने कहा कि पंजाब में मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार भ्रष्टाचारियों को जेल में डालने की बात कर रही है। लेकिन ये मामला साल 2022 में पंजाब सरकार के ध्यान में लाया गया था। इस पर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की गयी और मामले को दबाने की कोशिश की गयी।

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि, हालांकि यह वास्तव में आश्चर्यजनक है कि पंजाब की प्रमुख सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य देखभाल योजना को 2022 में खत्म कर दिया गया था। इसका कारण यह था कि बीमा कंपनी एसबीआई-जीआईसी ने अस्पतालों द्वारा किए गए भारी दावों के कारण पिछले भारी घाटे का हवाला देते हुए 25 फरवरी, 2022 से अपनी सेवाएं बंद कर दी थीं। वर्तमान में यह योजना राज्य स्वास्थ्य एजेंसी द्वारा ट्रस्ट मोड में संचालित की जा रही है।'

उन्होंने कहा कि लेकिन असली कारण यह है कि ईएमसी ग्रुप जैसे अस्पतालों ने अपने फायदे के लिए और गरीब मरीजों के इलाज की कीमत पर इस योजना का दुरुपयोग किया है। इतना ही नहीं, उनकी योजना से राष्ट्रीय और राज्य के खजाने को करोड़ों रुपये का नुकसान हुआ है, क्योंकि इस योजना को केंद्र और पंजाब सरकार ने संयुक्त रूप से 60:40 के अनुपात में फंड दिया गया था।'

डॉ. दुग्गल द्वारा स्विफ्ट हॉस्पिटल, अमृतसर में आयुष्मान भारत मुख्यमंत्री सेहत बीमा योजना के तहत मरीजों से लिए गए नकद पैसों की प्रविष्टियों को स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाया गया, जो कि 2022 से पहले तक पवन अरोड़ा के स्वामित्व वाले ईएमसी ग्रुप ऑफ हॉस्पिटल्स द्वारा चलाया जा रहा था। 2022 में डाॅ. दुग्गल द्वारा नकद प्रविष्टियों और फर्जी लैबोर्टरी रिपोर्टों का खुलासा करने के बाद पवन अरोड़ा ने स्विफ्ट अस्पताल का प्रबंधन छोड़ दिया।

डॉ. दुग्गल  ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान पवन अरोड़ा और उनकी टीम द्वारा सरकार से अवैध वित्तीय लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए तैयार की गई फर्जी लैबोर्टरी रिपोर्टों के दस्तावेजी सबूत भी दिखाए। इन फर्जी लैबोर्टरी रिपोर्टों के आधार पर अस्पताल द्वारा किए गए दावों को बीमा कंपनी द्वारा जांच के दौरान भी पकड़ा गया और अस्पताल को कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किया गया था और बाद में स्विफ्ट अस्पताल अमृतसर को स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना से निलंबित कर दिया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना से निलंबित होने के बाद, पवन अरोड़ा ने पर्दाफाश होने के डर से स्विफ्ट अस्पताल के प्रबंधन से भागने की योजना बनानी शुरू कर दिया थी।

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि पवन अरोड़ा और उनका ईएमसी अस्पताल, अमृतसर भी कुख्यात फर्जी कोविड-19 रिपोर्ट घोटाले में भी आरोपी हैं और मामला माननीय पंजाब और हरियाणा उच्च न्यायालय के समक्ष लंबित है। उन पर हत्या के प्रयास, जालसाजी और सरकारी दस्तावेजों के साथ छेड़छाड़ (एफआईआर नंबर 18 दिनांक 23.6.2020 अमृतसर) की विभिन्न धाराओं के तहत मुकदमा चलाया जा रहा है।'

डॉ. दुग्गल ने कहा कि जब मैंने पवन अरोड़ा से इन अनियमितताओं के बारे में बात की तो उन्होंने पहले मुझे धमकाने की कोशिश की और बाद में कई तरह से रिश्वत की पेशकश की। जब मुझे से कोई प्रतिक्रिया नहीं मिली, तो उन्होंने स्विफ्ट अस्पताल का प्रबंधन छोड़ दिया और अस्पताल के बीमा रिकॉर्ड से संबंधित दस्तावेज़ सौंपने से इनकार कर दिया। पैनल को मुझे स्थानांतरित करने के अनुरोध वाले मेरे ईमेल के जवाब में, उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, कि हम किसी भी पिछले मामले में हमारे बीच भविष्य में कोई विवाद न होने की स्पष्ट शर्त के अधीन आपकी फर्म को बीमा सूची हस्तांतरित कर सकते हैं, जो स्पष्ट तौर पर मुझे रिश्वत देने के समान है, कि अगर मैं इस पैनल को वापस लेना चाहता हूं तो इस मुद्दे पर बात न करूं।

डॉ. दुग्गल ने इसे माफिया द्वारा अस्पताल चलाने का मामला बताया, जिसमें पवन अरोड़ा और उनके ईएमसी ग्रुप के अस्पतालों द्वारा सरकारी धन का दुरुपयोग किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने मांग की कि ईएमसी ग्रुप ऑफ हॉस्पिटल्स की कार्यप्रणाली की उच्च स्तरीय जांच की जाए और अस्पताल के रिकॉर्ड का ऑडिट किया जाए। ऐसे शरारती तत्व चिकित्सा पेशे को बदनाम करते हैं क्योंकि अस्पताल चलाने वाले इन व्यापारियों को नैतिकता की कोई परवाह नहीं है। उन पर मुकदमा चलाया जाना चाहिए और पवन अरोड़ा के खिलाफ आपराधिक मामला दर्ज किया जाना चाहिए।

उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री, राज्य स्वास्थ्य एजेंसी, डीजीपी और विजिलेंस पंजाब को शिकायतें भेजे हुए दो साल से अधिक समय हो गया है, लेकिन आज तक ईएमसी ग्रुप और उसके मालिक पवन अरोड़ा के खिलाफ कोई आपराधिक कार्रवाई नहीं की गई है। विजिलेंस ब्यूरो पंजाब ने दिनांक 30/8/2022 को एक पत्र के माध्यम से प्रमुख सचिव स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण पंजाब को ईएमसी ग्रुप के खिलाफ इस शिकायत की सतर्कता जांच के लिए स्पष्ट सिफारिश भेजने का अनुरोध किया है, लेकिन इस मामले में अभी तक कुछ नहीं किया गया है।

डॉ. दुग्गल ने कहा कि मैं मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान और स्वास्थ्य मंत्री बलबीर सिंह से अपील करता हूं कि वे इस घोटाले की उच्च स्तरीय जांच का आदेश दें और जांच लंबित रहने तक ईएमसी ग्रुप के अस्पतालों को सभी सरकारी बीमा योजनाओं से डी-पैनल करें। ताकि पंजाब की स्वास्थ्य देखभाल प्रणाली को इन धोखेबाज़ों से बचाया जा सके।

Chandigarh, Sept.13, 2024: "मेरा सफ़र वज़न कम करने की इच्छा से शुरू हुआ था, और मैंने कभी नहीं सोचा था कि यह मुझे इस मुकाम तक ले जाएगा। फिटनेस रूटीन के तौर पर शुरू हुई यह शुरुआत जल्द ही जुनून में बदल गई"। यह बात माउंट कार्मेल स्कूल, सेक्टर 47 की छात्रा 14 वर्षीय गुरसीरत कौर ने चंडीगढ़ प्रेस क्लब में आयोजित एक पत्रकार वार्ता के दौरान साझा की। जिन्होंने 28 अगस्त से 10 सितंबर तक अबू धाबी (यूएई) में आयोजित एशियाई स्कूल बॉक्सिंग चैंपियनशिप में स्वर्ण पदक जीता।

अबू धाबी में स्वर्ण जीतने से पहले चौदह वर्षीय खिलाड़ी ने 8-11 अगस्त तक हरियाणा के रोहतक में आयोजित एएसबीसी एशियाई जूनियर और स्कूलबॉयज़ और स्कूलगर्ल्स बॉक्सिंग चैंपियनशिप ट्रायल में स्वर्ण पदक जीता था और पहला स्थान हासिल किया था।

उनके पिता कंवल दीप सिंह फोर्टिस अस्पताल, मोहाली में चीफ सिक्योरिटी ऑफिसर (सीएसओ) के पद पर कार्यरत हैं जबकि माता नवप्रीत कौर शिक्षिका के रूप में कार्यरत हैं।

गुरसीरत ने कहा कि एशियाई खेलों में स्वर्ण पदक जीतना मेरे जीवन में एक निर्णायक क्षण रहा है। यह बॉक्सिंग में मेरे द्वारा की गई वर्षों की कड़ी मेहनत, समर्पण और दृढ़ता का प्रतीक है। मेरे कोच मुझे एक बॉक्सिंग के रूप में आकार देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते रहे हैं, मुझे अपने कौशल को सुधारने और निखारने के लिए प्रेरित करते रहे हैं। पढ़ाई और बॉक्सिंग दोनों को प्रबंधित करना आसान नहीं है, लेकिन उचित योजना और समय प्रबंधन के साथ, मैं दोनों मोर्चों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने में सक्षम रही हूं। भविष्य में मेरा लक्ष्य सुधार जारी रखना और बड़े मंचों पर भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करना है। गुरसीरत ने कहा, मैं शैक्षणिक रूप से उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए अपने परिवार और देश को गौरवान्वित करना जारी रखना चाहती हूं।

उनकी मां नवरीत कौर ने उनकी पिछली उपलब्धियों के बारे में विस्तार से बताते हुए कहा, गुरसीरत कौर ने कई उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धियों के माध्यम से खुद को बॉक्सिंग में एक प्रमुख खिलाड़ी के रूप में स्थापित किया है। उन्होंने खेल के प्रति अपने असाधारण कौशल और समर्पण का प्रदर्शन करते हुए चंडीगढ़ में सर्वश्रेष्ठ बॉक्सिंग का खिताब जीता। उनकी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन तब और भी बढ़ गया जब उन्होंने नोएडा में एक कंपीटिशन में स्वर्ण पदक हासिल किया, जिससे रिंग में उनका दबदबा और भी बढ़ गया। इसके अलावा, कौर ने रोहतक में आयोजित ट्रायल में पहला स्थान हासिल किया, जो उनकी बेहतर तकनीक और तैयारी का प्रमाण है। उनके उल्लेखनीय प्रदर्शन की परिणति एशियन स्कूल बॉक्सिंग चैंपियनशिप (एएसबीसी) में स्वर्ण पदक जीतने के साथ हुई, जिससे वह अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच पर एक मजबूत प्रतियोगी के रूप में पहचानी गईं। ये उपलब्धियाँ सामूहिक रूप से उनकी असाधारण प्रतिभा और बॉक्सिंग के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता को उजागर करती हैं।

चंडीगढ़ के माउंट कार्मेल स्कूल की प्रिंसिपल डॉ. परवीना जॉन सिंह ने कहा कि गुरसीरत ने पढ़ाई और खेल के बीच संतुलन बनाने का एक प्रेरणादायक उदाहरण पेश किया है। शुरू से ही, उसने दोनों क्षेत्रों में अटूट ध्यान और दृढ़ संकल्प दिखाया है, अपने लक्ष्य तक पहुँचने के लिए उसे अपने अल्मा मेटर और माता-पिता से लगातार प्रेरणा मिलती रही है। उसकी कई उपलब्धियों में से, एशियाई खेलों में स्वर्ण पदक जीतना पूरे देश के लिए बहुत गर्व की बात है। मैं गुरसीरत और उसके माता-पिता को इस उपलब्धि के लिए हार्दिक बधाई देती हूँ।

गुरसीरत के कोच डॉ. भगवंत सिंह ने कहा कि एक 14 साल की लड़की को समर्पण के साथ काम करते देखना वास्तव में सराहनीय है, वह न सिर्फ़ एक बॉक्सर बल्कि एक योद्धा बनकर उभरी है। उन्होंने इसे हासिल करने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत की है और जिसका फल उन्हें मिला है। उनका धैर्य और दृढ़ संकल्प मुझे उनका कोच होने पर गर्व महसूस कराता है और मैं उसके लचीलेपन और कौशल से आश्चर्यचकित हूं और वह एक ऐसी खिलाड़ी हैं जिसके पास शेर का दिल और चैंपियन की इच्छाशक्ति है।

किन्नर मंदिर में धूमधाम से किया गया गणेश प्रतिमा का विसर्जन

Chandigarh, Sept.12, 2024:--जय माता किन्नर मंदिर सेक्टर 26 में स्थापित गणेश प्रतिमा का विसर्जन वीरवार को किया गया। मंदिर की पुजारिन महंत कमली माता की देखरेख में पूजा अर्चना के साथ गणपति की मिट्टी, गोबर और हल्दी से निर्मित मूर्तियों को मंदिर परिसर का भ्रमण कराया गया तथा एक साफ सुथरे गमले में विसर्जित किया गया। इस मौके पर  मंदिर के सेवादारों सहित अन्य लोग भी मौजूद थे।लोगों ने विघ्न विनायक श्री गणेश की पूजा धूमधाम से की। 

किन्नर मंदिर की पुजारिन महंत कमली माता ने बताया कि भगवान गणेश जल तत्‍व के अधिपति हैं और यही कारण है कि अनंत चतुर्दशी के दिन भगवान गणपति की पूजा-अर्चना कर गणपति-प्रतिमा का विसर्जन किया जाता हैI उन्होंने बताया कि विसर्जन समारोह से पहले भगवान गणेश की मूर्ति को धूप (अगरबत्ती), गहरा (दीया), पुष्पा (फूल), गंध (इत्र), नैवेद्य और मोदक या लड्डू का प्रसाद चढ़ाया गया। सभी भक्तिभाव से आरती की और बप्पा को उनके घरों में आने और आशीर्वाद देने के लिए धन्यवाद दिया। सभी ने पूजा के दौरान हुई किसी भी त्रुटि के लिए क्षमा मांगी। इसके बाद गणपति बप्पा की मूर्तियों का मंदिर में एक गमले में जल डाल मिट्टी और गोबर की मूर्ति को विसर्जित कर उसमें एक पौधा लगा दिया गया है। जबकि हल्दी से निर्मित बप्पा की मूर्ति को एक बर्तन में जल में घोल बना कर मंदिर परिसर और भक्तों पर छिड़का गया।

गणपति बप्पा की मूर्ति विसर्जन के बारे में बताते हुए उन्होंने बताया कि पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, वेद व्यास जी ने गणेश जी को गणेश चतुर्थी से 10 दिनों तक महाभारत की कथा सुनाई थी, जिसे गणेश जी ने बिना रुके लिपिबद्ध कर दिया। 10 दिनों के बाद जब वेद व्यास जी ने अपनी आंखें खोली, तो पाया कि अथक परिश्रम के कारण गणेश जी के शरीर का तापमान बहुत बढ़ गया है। उन्होंने तुरंत गणेश जी को पास के ही एक सरोवर में ले उनके शरीर को शीतल किया। इससे उनके शरीर का तापमान सामान्य हो गया। इस कारण से ही अनंत चतुर्दशी को गणेश जी की मूर्तियों को जल में विसर्जित किया जाता है। वेद व्यास जी ने गणपति बप्पा के शरीर के तापमान को कम करने के लिए उनके शरीर पर सौंधी मिट्टी का लेप लगा दिया। लेप सूखने से गणेश जी का शरीर अकड़ गया। इससे मुक्ति के लिए उन्होंने गणेश जी को एक सरोवर में उतार दिया। फिर उन्होंने गणेश जी की 10 दिनों तक सेवा की, मनपसंद भोजन आदि दिए। इसके बाद से ही गणेश मूर्ति की स्थापना और विसर्जन प्रतीक स्वरूप होने लगा।

CGC Jhanjeri, organises Internal Smart India Hackathon 2024

Mohali, Sept.12, 2024:-CGC Jhanjeri organized Internal Smart India Hackathon. The event showcased the exceptional technical skills and innovative spirit of the  students . The hackathon attracted 75 teams, comprising approximately 450 students, who presented a diverse array of innovative ideas. A distinguished panel of judges, including Vardaan, CEO of Skill to Education; Gaurav Madaan, CTO of Niwi.ai; and Prof. Ati Priye, CEO of the Incubation Center at CGC-J, meticulously evaluated the projects. Following a rigorous review, 30 teams were selected to upload their presentations to the SIH portal.

Among the top five teams recognized for their exceptional ideas, the first three positions were secured by Lovedeep Singh's team, Divyansh Dhiman's team, and Deepika's team, respectively. A female team member from the first-place team also  received a job offer, highlighting the career-enhancing opportunities presented by the hackathon. A cash award of ₹2000, was generously provided by Gaurav Madaan and awarded to a team nominated by the judges.

The event concluded with enthusiastic feedback from participants and praise from faculty for the students' creativity and dedication. Mohali, Sept.12, 2024:- खन्ना निवासी एक युवती ने फाजिल्का निवासी युवक पर लिव इन मे रहते हुए उसे शादी का झांसा देकर शारीरिक शोषण करने के आरोप लगाए है। साथ ही 03 कीमती फ़ोन और पैसे भी हड़प कर फरार हो गया। युवती ने अपने साथ हुए धोखे को लेकर मोहाली पुलिस में शिकायत दी है। यहां से उसकी शिकायत वीमेन सेल को भेज दी गई। लेकिन अभी तक युवती को इंसाफ नही मिला है। युवती की मांग है कि उसकी उक्त युवक से शादी करवाई जाए ताकि उसका भविष्य सुरक्षित हो सके।

खन्ना निवासी युवती रजनी नकली नाम ने फेस 2 में एक प्रैस कांफ्रेंस के दौरान बताया कि वह मोहाली के अधीन आते गांव बलोंगी में बतौर पी जी रहती है। वो पेशेंट केअर का काम करती है। अपने इसी काम के दौरान वर्ष 2022 में उनकी फाजिल्का निवासी जीवन मसीह से मुलाकात हुई। यहां से कुछ समय बाद उनमें लगाव बढ़ता गया और वो एक दूसरे के नजदीक आते गए।  जीवन महीह ने उन्हें शादी के लिए प्रोपोज़ किया। उन्होंने जीवन को पहले से उनकी शादीशुदा होने की बात बताई। जीवन उसे सुखी और बेहतर भविष्य का ख्वाव दिखाते हुए अपने पति से तलाक लेने का दबाब बनाता रहा। उसके कहने पर उसने अपने पति से तलाक ले लिया और जीवन के साथ लिव इन मे रहने लगी। यहां रहते रहते उनके बीच शारीरिक संबंध भी बन गए। वो इस बीच जीवन को शादी का कहती रही। लेकिन जीवन उसे टालता ही रह। जीवन ने उससे 02 आई फोन 14 भी मांगे। जिसे उन्होंने इंस्टॉलमेंट पर लेकर दे दिया। उसने उससे अपने काम को बढ़ाने के लिए पैसे भी मांगे। उन्होंने अपने गहने गिरवी रखकर उसे तकरीबन 5 लाख रुपए दिए। जिसके कुछ अरसे बाद वो काम के सिलसिले में आउट ऑफ स्टेशन का बोल कर वापिस नही आया। उसने उसे कई फ़ोन किए,उसके फाजिल्का निवास पर जाकर उसके फैमिली से बात भी की और अपने संबंधों के बारे में बताया। उसके परिवार वालों ने उसे धमकाना डराना शुरू कर दिया। इसके बाद उसने मोहाली एसएसपी को शिकायत की। पुलिस ने उसकी शिकायत वीमेन सेल को फारवर्ड कर दी। यहां पर वोमैन सैल की जांच अधिकारी आईओ का व्यवहार उनके साथ ठीक नही रहा। पीडता ने बताया कि अपने और जीवन के लिव इन मे रहते हुए वो दो बार गर्भवती भी हुई। दोनों बार ही जीवन मसीह ने उसे दवाई खिला कर उनका गर्भपात करवा दिया।

 पीड़िता ने बताया कि पुलिस में शिकायत का पता चलने पर जीवन अपने दो दोस्तो के साथ उससे मिलने आया और फिर से उसे शादी का सब्ज़बाग दिखाते हुए पी जी से बाहर कहीं चलने को कहा। बल्कि वो जबरदस्ती उसे किसी होटल में चलने की जिद करने लगा और कहने लगा कि वहां आराम से बैठ कर बात करेंगे। तब उन्होंने कहा कि जब बात ही करनी है तो बाहर किसी पार्क में भी वैठकर कर सकते हैं। लेकिन वो उसे मिन्नतें करके होटल में ले गया और कोई नशीली पदार्थ खिला कर उसके साथ फिर से संबंध बनाए। जो बात अगले दिन उसने मेरे होश में आने पर कबूली। इसका मतलब यह रहा कि उसके मन मे छल कपट भरा हुआ है और वो मेरी भावनाओं से खेलता रहा। उसने अपने फायदे के लिए मुझे इस्तेमाल ही किया।

 महिला का कहना है कि वो इंसाफ चाहती है। जीवन के चक्कर मे फंस कर वो कहीं की भी नही रही। पहले पति से वो तलाक ले चुकी हैं और जीवन अब उससे भागता फिर रहा है। वो अपने सुखी भविष्य के लिए सिर्फ शादी ही चाहती हैं। 

वहीं इस बारे में जीवन मसीह को फ़ोन कर उनका पक्ष जानना चाहा तो फ़ोन उनके माता जी ने अटेंड किया और कहा कि वो बाहर काम पर गया है। बाकी लड़की जो करना चाहे या यहां भी शिकायत करनी है, करती रहे, उन्हें कोई फर्क नही पड़ता।

खन्ना निवासी युवती रजनी नकली नाम ने फेस 2 में एक प्रैस कांफ्रेंस के दौरान बताया कि वह मोहाली के अधीन आते गांव बलोंगी में बतौर पी जी रहती है। वो पेशेंट केअर का काम करती है। अपने इसी काम के दौरान वर्ष 2022 में उनकी फाजिल्का निवासी जीवन मसीह से मुलाकात हुई। यहां से कुछ समय बाद उनमें लगाव बढ़ता गया और वो एक दूसरे के नजदीक आते गए।  जीवन महीह ने उन्हें शादी के लिए प्रोपोज़ किया। उन्होंने जीवन को पहले से उनकी शादीशुदा होने की बात बताई। जीवन उसे सुखी और बेहतर भविष्य का ख्वाव दिखाते हुए अपने पति से तलाक लेने का दबाब बनाता रहा। उसके कहने पर उसने अपने पति से तलाक ले लिया और जीवन के साथ लिव इन मे रहने लगी। यहां रहते रहते उनके बीच शारीरिक संबंध भी बन गए। वो इस बीच जीवन को शादी का कहती रही। लेकिन जीवन उसे टालता ही रह। जीवन ने उससे 02 आई फोन 14 भी मांगे। जिसे उन्होंने इंस्टॉलमेंट पर लेकर दे दिया। उसने उससे अपने काम को बढ़ाने के लिए पैसे भी मांगे। उन्होंने अपने गहने गिरवी रखकर उसे तकरीबन 5 लाख रुपए दिए। जिसके कुछ अरसे बाद वो काम के सिलसिले में आउट ऑफ स्टेशन का बोल कर वापिस नही आया। उसने उसे कई फ़ोन किए,उसके फाजिल्का निवास पर जाकर उसके फैमिली से बात भी की और अपने संबंधों के बारे में बताया। उसके परिवार वालों ने उसे धमकाना डराना शुरू कर दिया। इसके बाद उसने मोहाली एसएसपी को शिकायत की। पुलिस ने उसकी शिकायत वीमेन सेल को फारवर्ड कर दी। यहां पर वोमैन सैल की जांच अधिकारी आईओ का व्यवहार उनके साथ ठीक नही रहा। पीडता ने बताया कि अपने और जीवन के लिव इन मे रहते हुए वो दो बार गर्भवती भी हुई। दोनों बार ही जीवन मसीह ने उसे दवाई खिला कर उनका गर्भपात करवा दिया।

 पीड़िता ने बताया कि पुलिस में शिकायत का पता चलने पर जीवन अपने दो दोस्तो के साथ उससे मिलने आया और फिर से उसे शादी का सब्ज़बाग दिखाते हुए पी जी से बाहर कहीं चलने को कहा। बल्कि वो जबरदस्ती उसे किसी होटल में चलने की जिद करने लगा और कहने लगा कि वहां आराम से बैठ कर बात करेंगे। तब उन्होंने कहा कि जब बात ही करनी है तो बाहर किसी पार्क में भी वैठकर कर सकते हैं। लेकिन वो उसे मिन्नतें करके होटल में ले गया और कोई नशीली पदार्थ खिला कर उसके साथ फिर से संबंध बनाए। जो बात अगले दिन उसने मेरे होश में आने पर कबूली। इसका मतलब यह रहा कि उसके मन मे छल कपट भरा हुआ है और वो मेरी भावनाओं से खेलता रहा। उसने अपने फायदे के लिए मुझे इस्तेमाल ही किया।

 महिला का कहना है कि वो इंसाफ चाहती है। जीवन के चक्कर मे फंस कर वो कहीं की भी नही रही। पहले पति से वो तलाक ले चुकी हैं और जीवन अब उससे भागता फिर रहा है। वो अपने सुखी भविष्य के लिए सिर्फ शादी ही चाहती हैं। 

वहीं इस बारे में जीवन मसीह को फ़ोन कर उनका पक्ष जानना चाहा तो फ़ोन उनके माता जी ने अटेंड किया और कहा कि वो बाहर काम पर गया है। बाकी लड़की जो करना चाहे या यहां भी शिकायत करनी है, करती रहे, उन्हें कोई फर्क नही पड़ता।

Swinging Samurai Announces Team for Chandigarh Golf League Season 3

Chandigarh, Sept.12, 2024:--On the eve of Chandigarh  Golf League Season 3, 2024, Swinging Samurai, a prestigious team playing in the league, introduced its team members to the media. The co-owners of the team, BS Gill, Manish Goyal, Shaleen Kapur & Amit Sood; team members; coach Manjit Kochar along-with Ranjan Tarafdar, Chief Operating Officer(COO), SBP Group and Sunil Bakshi, Chief Experience Officer(CXO), SBP Group launched the team's logo at a press meet held at S Lounge, Sec 26 here. It was also announced that the real estate giant SBP Group will be the official flagship sponsor of the team.

BS Gill, a co-owner of the Swinging Samurai Golf Team; the team's senior players  Lt. Gen T S Gill (Retd.) and Lt Gen G S Sangha  addressed the media. They were joined by Ranjan Tarafdar, COO of SBP Group and Sunil Bakshi, CXO SBP Group.

BS Gill, who is also captaining the Swinging Samurai Golf Team, expressed his excitement about the upcoming season and said that the league will feature 378 players over 30 days, with 21 teams competing in a series of challenging matches. The collaboration between the Swinging Samurai Golf Team and SBP Group is set to enhance the league's profile and contribute to its continued success.

Ranjan Tarafdar, COO of SBP Group, said that we are proud to support the Swinging Samurai Golf Team in this league. Sports is close to our heart; we are building pioneering sports centred residential complexes so that people can fulfil their dream of living an active life and children can look at becoming champions. We are coming up with SBP Olympia spread across 9 acres at Peer Muchalla where at the core of development will be all outdoor sports like tennis, swimming, badminton, squash, cycling, basketball, cricket etc. and indoor games like table tennis, carrom, chess etc.

Ranjan explained that the group has realised that post COVID physical fitness and an active lifestyle has become a top priority, so an 'emphasis on sports in SBP projects' has become a cornerstone of our corporate vision.  He further added that in line with this, SBP is planning to build a Sports City in Dera Bassi on land spread over 43 acres. Meanwhile names of team members were also announced at the press meet.  Under Handicap (0-9) the team will have BS Gill (Captain), SK Sharma, Deshvir S. Attariwala & Rajinder Singh Pammy. Under Handicap (10-16) team members will be Col AD Singh, Col Ajay Kaila, Jaipal Hundal, Gp Capt Deepak Ahluwalia, Jazzy Sihota, Jagmohan Singh, BPS Brar, Harman Grewal, Gen GS Sangha, Gen TS Gill, Brig HS Gill, Col Mohan S Ghuman & Col Nirpinder S Bains.
