For Quality Education, Major Amendments in Policies are Necessary: Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma

National President of National Independent Schools Alliance (NISA) and State President of Federation of Private Schools Welfare Association Haryana, Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma addressed a press conference in Chandigarh on Tuesday. While speaking to the media he said that the National Education Policy 2020 is being implemented in the country in a phased manner.

On this occasion, Satbir Patel, Srichand Jaffran, Rajesh Munjal, Pradeep Kasan and other dignitaries were present during the press conference along with Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma.

It is our Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream to witness our country becoming world leader in the field of education.  The ground reality is that private schools have a very important contribution in the education system of the country.  The situation is that private schools are struggling with various problems and corruption and the Federation of Private Schools Welfare Association Haryana is struggling to solve these problems.

Earlier, the Federation had held detailed discussion with Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal in which solutions to many issues were agreed upon and many effective steps were taken. During the discussion, mainly the issue of exemption on land for private schools, issue of one step upgradation and waiving  off fine imposed on Haryana Board teachers  and consent was given to refund the fine collected. The federation members thanked the Haryana Government and the Honorable Minister for addressing these issues.  The federation warmly welcomed the steps taken in the interest of education.

During the press conference, Dr. Sharma said that apart from this we want to bring many other issues before them in the interest of education to get rid of the complexity of these issues, eliminating corruption so that our country achieves higher position in the field of education.

Dr. Sharma said in the press conference that the government should release the outstanding fund to the private schools under 134-A which is pending for the last 9 years  as soon as possible. This step will provide significant financial relief to school operators.

While refering to the sports fund imposed by the government Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma termed it as absolutely  unfair and unjust. He further added that the government should take sports funds only from those children who are participating in sports.  Whereas the government is taking sports funds from all the children which is not right.

Private schools which have been recognised permanently must be removed from the renewal and review system. There should not be any kind of inspection regarding these in these schools.  The school operators have fulfilled all the rules while taking recognition.  In such a situation, if necessary, a simple affidavit should be taken from them.

Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma said that the rules in which the government has given us relief and talked about paying the bond amount, the government had given two years time for that.  The situation is as per the notification issued.  Time has been given till 31st March.  In such a situation, we have only five months time.  Our demand is that we should be given full two years' time.

The issue of U DICE in private schools is also very important for us.  Under this issue, CLU schools, built before 2003, that wish 11-feet walkway, should get permission from the government.

 Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal has announced relief for pledge money.  The federation demands that a notification be issued on this issue soon.

 The children whose admissions have been done under Chirag Yojana should be declared valid and the pending payment should be made immediately after removing all kinds of obstacles.

Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma said that in the case of children from 9th to 12th, an agreement was reached in the meeting held with the Education Minister.  In this case, according to Chirag, these children should be paid Rs 1100.

 Dr. Sharma said that in the important meeting held with Honorable CM Manohar Lal Khattar and Education Minister Kanwar Pal, the CM had passed a proposal that the government is ready to give the Hooda site to the private schools of the State Board.  In such a situation, our demand is that the government should make and announce rules on this issue and provide sites to Haryana Board schools at concessional rates, so that the level of education be raised as per the vision of the CM.

Sixth Edition of Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational presented by TAKE Sports tees-off on November 2

 TAKE Sports and the TATA Steel Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will be staging the sixth edition of the Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational presented by TAKE at the esteemed Chandigarh Golf Club from November 2 – 5, 2023. The main event will be preceded by the Pro-Am event on November 1.

The tournament had been jointly launched by TAKE Sports and TATA Steel PGTI in 2018 as a gesture to honour Indian golfing great Jeev Milkha Singh.  

The tournament is being staged at Jeev's home course, the Chandigarh Golf Club, for the sixth year in succession and offers a handsome prize purse of INR 1.5 crore. The field will feature 130 participants including 127 professionals and three amateurs.

The attractive field for the tournament this year will feature event host Jeev Milkha Singh along with India's international winners such as Rahil Gangjee, Rashid Khan, TATA Steel PGTI Ranking Leader Om Prakash Chouhan, Khalin Joshi, Yuvraj Singh Sandhu, Sujjan Singh and Himmat Singh Rai as well as other leading Indian players such as Aman Raj, Olympian Udayan Mane and last week's winner Jairaj Singh Sandhu.

Patience Knock from Yamuna Singh, Helps Punjab to a Mass 256

Chandigarh, Oct.31, 2023:- A well-in-time splendid half century knock from Yamuna Singh (88) helped Punjab to bring out of the trouble to put a respectable 256 score against J&K at the finals of the third edition of  Balramji Tandon Under-16 Boys Multi-Day Cricket Tournament being played at DAV College, Sector 10 on Tuesday. After winning the toss, J&K decided to field first and Punjab made a steady start with 74/1 on the board. Later, the team fumble against the disciplined bowling attack to reduce the half side at mere 116.  Yamuna Singh continued to hold the fort and steered his team to beyond 250 mark. His patient inning of 88 runs off 128 balls was studded with 17 shots towards the fence as the team was bundled out for 256 in 84th over. Ravtej Singh added 47 runs. For J&K, Manitvya Sharma, Arun Kumar and Shifan took two wickets each.

 

In reply, J&K scored ten runs without losing any wicket with unbeaten openers - Arjun Sharma (4) and Rahil (6) before the stumps were drawn.

 

On the last day of the match on Wednesday, Haryana's Vidhan Sabha Speaker  Gian Chand Gupta will honor the winning and runner-up teams.

Chandigarh, Oct.30, 2023:-हर किसी का मन होता है कि त्योहार को बेहतर तरीके से सेलीब्रेट किया जा सके। पर कुछ मजबूरियां होती हैं कि वे उस तरीके से त्योहारों को सेलीब्रेट नहीं कर सकते हैं। शहर की कुछ समाजसेवी संस्थाएं हैं जो हर त्योहार को गरीब, मजबूर या फिर घरों में काम करने वाली महिलाओं के साथ मनाती हैं। चंडीगढ़ की समाजसेवी संस्थाओं द लास्ट बेंचर, भारत विकास परिषद ईस्ट 1 एवम ग्रीन लेन वेलफेयर सोसाइटी ने इस बार प्री करवाचौथ सेलिब्रेशन एम ओ एच के अधीन में काम करने वाली महिलाओं के साथ मनाया। इस मौके पर संस्थाओं के पदाधिकारियों ने उन्हें सुहागी के साथ-साथ श्रृंगार का सामान, कलश और मिठाई दी। इस अवसर पर द लास्ट बेंचर की प्रेसिडेंट सुमिता कोहली और उनकी टीम, भारत विकास परिषद ईस्ट 1 की प्रमुख नीलम गुप्ता और उनकी टीम सहित ग्रीन लेन वेलफेयर सोसाइटी की प्रेसिडेंट संगीता अग्रवाल और उनकी टीम सहित ऋतु भंडारी और जागृति इत्यादि उपस्थित थीं।

द लास्ट बेंचर की प्रेसिडेंट सुमिता कोहली का कहना है कि उन्हें त्योहार ऐसे लोगों के साथ मनाने से सुकून मिलता है और वह चाहती हैं कि कुछ ही पैसों में जो अपने घर के साथ-साथ हमारे घर को संभालती हैं, तो क्यों न उनकी खुशियों को बांटा जाए और उनकी खुशियों में शामिल हुआ जाए। उनका कहना है कि ऐसा वो कई सालों से कर रही हैं और कोई भी त्योहार हो चाहे होली, दिवाली या फिर करवा चौथ वह काम करने वाली महिलाओं के साथ सेलीब्रेट करती हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि त्योहारों की ही बात नहीं है, वह जो कोई भी गरीब या फिर मजबूर होता है, उसकी मदद को हमेशा आगे रहती हैं। उनका मानना है कि किसी की मदद अगर हो जाए और उसकी चेहरे पर मुस्कान आ जाए, तो इससे बेहतर जिंदगी में और क्या हो सकता है। उनका फोकस रहता है कि जो मजबूर हैं उनकी मदद की जाए। जब किसी की मदद से बाद जो दुआ मिलती है वह सबसे बड़ा सुकुन देती हैं।

करवा चौथ पर लगाया गया मेहंदी का स्टाल: महिलाओं को लगाई गई निशुल्क मेहंदी

Chandigarh, Oct.30, 2023:-पति की दीर्घायु के महिलाओं द्वारा रखे जाने वाले करवाचौथ के व्रत को लेकर महिलाओं में उत्साह देखते ही बनता है और त्योहार को लेकर बाजार में रौनक भी देखते ही बनती है।ज्वेलरी शॉप हो, ब्यूटी पार्लर हो और या फिर कॉस्मेटिक शॉप्स, हर शाप पर महिलाओं को खरीदारी करते देखा जा सकता है। करवा चौथ पर साज श्रृंगार को लेकर महिलाएं कुछ ज्यादा ही सजग दिखती हैं। आकर्षक और मन लुभावन ड्रेस हो या गहने, महिलाओं का उत्साह देखने लायक होता है। वहीं करवा चौथ व्रत पर महिलाओं में डिज़ाइनर और आकर्षक मेहंदी लगवाने का क्रेज भी देखते ही बनता है । इसी को देखते हुए सेक्टर 24 स्थित शहर की विख्यात कॉस्मेटिक शॉप ओंकार मार्केटिंग ने भी महिलाओं के लिए अपनी शॉप के सामने मेहंदी के स्टाल लगा दिए है। इन स्टाल पर महिलाओं को निशुल्क मेहंदी लगाई जा रही है। मेहंदी लगाने के लिए प्रशिक्षित मेहंदी लगाने वाली लड़कियों को बिठाया गया है। 

इस बारे में और अधिक जानकारी देते हुए ओंकार मार्केटिंग के ओनर रविंदर सिंह ने बताया कि प्रतिवर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष और इस बार भी करवाचौथ पर्व को लेकर महिलाओं के हाथों में मेहंदी लगाने को लेकर स्टाल लगाए गए है। 30 और 31 अक्तूबर को लगाए गए इन मेहंदी स्टाल के लिए उन्होंने स्लम एरिया से गरीब परिवार की 20 मेहंदी एक्सपर्टस को मेहदी लगाने के लिए बिठाया है। महिलाओं के हाथों में मेहंदी निशुल्क लगाई जा रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि इसके अलावा उनकी शॉप से खरीदारी करने वाले सभी ग्राहको को उपहार भी दिए जा रहे हैं। ये आफर पिछले कई दिन से चल रही है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि महिलाएं अपने पति के लिए व्रत रखकर उसकी लंबी उम्र की कामना करती हैं. भले ही हिंदू धर्म में इस त्योहार का विशेष महत्व हो, लेकिन कई मायनों में ये रिश्ते को मजबूत बनाने का काम भी करता है। इसी कारण खास दिन पर पति और पत्नी का एक-साथ होना जरूरी होता है।

Mohali, Oct.29,2023:- स्ट्रोक गंभीर दीर्घकालिक दिव्यांगता का एक प्रमुख कारण है और दुनिया भर में कई लोगों की जान ले रहा है। हालाँकि, इसके लक्षणों और चेतावनी संकेतों के बारे में लोगों में जागरूकता का स्तर कम बना हुआ है। लोगों को स्ट्रोक और उससे जुड़ी जटिलताओं के बारे में जागरूक करने के लिए हर साल 29 अक्टूबर को वर्ल्ड  स्ट्रोक डे मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष के आयोजन का विषय है 'टूगेदर वी आर ग्रेटर देन स्ट्रोक'।

यह बात फोर्टिस हॉस्पिटल मोहाली के न्यूरोलॉजी विभाग के एडिशनल डायरेक्टर डॉ. एचएस मान ने एक चर्चा के दौरान जानकारी देते हुए बताई्र तथा ब्रेन स्ट्रोक के कारणों, लक्षणों, सावधानियों और उपचार विकल्पों के बारे में जानकारी साझी की।

यह कहते हुए कि स्ट्रोक तब होता है जब मस्तिष्क के एक हिस्से में रक्त संचार अवरुद्ध हो जाता है या जब मस्तिष्क में रक्त वाहिका फट जाती है, डॉ. मान ने कहा कि इससे रक्त प्रवाह में कमी और ऑक्सीजन की कमी के कारण मस्तिष्क की कोशिकाएं मर सकती हैं।. यह एक मेडिकल एमरजेंसी है और इसमें चिकित्सीय हस्तक्षेप की आवश्यकता होती है।

उन्होंने बताया कि स्ट्रोक आमतौर पर हाई ब्लडप्रेशर, डायबटिक, हाई कोलेस्ट्रॉल लेवल, मोटापा, धूम्रपान और अत्यधिक शराब के सेवन से होता है। लक्षणों में संतुलन की हानि, दृश्य शिकायतें, अचानक कमजोरी या चेहरे, हाथ या पैर (विशेषकर शरीर के एक तरफ) का पेरालाइज, और अचानक बोलने में कठिनाई शामिल हैं।

डॉ. मान ने बताया कि समय महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि एक मिनट के लिए भी मस्तिष्क की कोशिकाओं में ऑक्सीजन की हानि से 1.8 मिलियन न्यूरॉन्स की हानि हो सकती है। मैकेनिकल थ्रोम्बेक्टोमी के साथ या उसके बिना इंट्रावेंसियस थ्रोम्बोलिसिस (4-5 घंटे के भीतर) के साथ तत्काल उपचार की आवश्यकता होती है।

स्ट्रोक को रोकने के तरीकों पर, डॉ. मान ने बताया कि ब्लड पे्रशर को नियंत्रित करें क्योंकि बीपी में किसी भी तरह की बढ़ोतरी स्ट्रोक होने की संभावना को बढ़ा सकती है। डायबटिज पर नजर रखें, चीनी का सेवन सीमित करें, धूम्रपान छोड़ें और शराब का सेवन कम करें। शारीरिक गतिविधि महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि यह रक्त प्रवाह में सुधार करती है और वजन को नियंत्रण में रखती है।

Chandigarh, Oct. 29, 2023:- मिथिला स्टूडेंट यूनियन चंडीगढ़ ट्राईसिटी द्वारा 'कवि कोकिल विद्यापति स्मृति पर्व संग मैथिल मिलन समारोह' का आयोजन शिव शिव मानस मंदिर फेज 2  चंडीगढ़  किया गया। जिसमें मशहुर मैथिली गायको ने मैथिली गीत गाकर मिथिला की संस्कृति का गुणगान किया। इतना ही नही गायकों द्वारा कवि कोकिल विद्यापति की कुछ रचनाओं की प्रस्तुति दी गई।

कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर भारतीय सेना में सेवानिवृत कर्नल व समाजसेवी डॉ डीएन झा ने शिरकत की, जबकि विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में युवा टूर एंड ट्रेवल्स व्यवसायी कृष्णा झा उपस्थित रहे। इस दौरान उनके साथ तथा यूनियन के संरक्षक आदित्य झा, अध्यक्ष सुरजीत झा, महासचिव सुनील कुमार, समन्वयक कृष्णदेव विद्यार्थी, उपाध्यक्ष नितिश कुशवाह, कोषाध्यक्ष माधव दास तथा सदस्य मंजीत झा, माधव दास, हेमंत झा भी उपस्थित थे। इस अवसर पर यूनियन द्वारा मुख्य अतिथि एवं विशिष्ट अतिथि को स्मृति चिन्ह प्रदान किया गया।

 

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत दीप प्रज्वलित कर की गई, तत्पश्चात महाकवि विद्यापति रचित प्रसिद्ध देवी गीत जय जय भैरवी असूर गाकर कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की गई। कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित प्रसिद्ध मैथिल गायकों में विकास झा, सोनी चैधरी झा, निखिल महादेव झा, मधुलता मिश्रा, संजीव झा आदि ने अपने गायन में कवि कोकिल विद्यापति की रचनाएं 'राम जी पूछे जनकपूर के नारी', 'हे हर हमरो किन दिय गहना', 'चलू भैया मिथिला धुमै लै', 'हम मिथिला की बेटी', 'जग जननी सिया', 'मोर रे अंगनवा चंदन केर गछीया' व अन्य रचनाओं को बखूबी प्रस्तुत किया, जिसे सुनकर दर्शक मंत्रमुग्ध हो गए।

यूनियन अध्यक्ष सुरजीत झा ने महाकवि विद्यापति के व्यक्तित्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए बताया कि विद्यापति मैथिली और संस्कृत कवि, संगीतकार, लेखक, दरबारी और राज पुरोहित थे। उन्हें 'मैथिल कवि कोकिल' (मैथिली के कवि कोयल) के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। महाकवि विद्यापति संस्कृत, अबहट्ठ, मैथिली आदि अनेक भाषाओं के प्रकाण्ड पंडित थे। शास्र और लोक दोनों ही संसार में उनका असाधारण अधिकार था। कर्मकाण्ड हो या धर्म, दर्शन हो या न्याय, सौन्दर्य शास्र हो या भक्ति रचना, विरह व्यथा हो या अभिसार, राजा का कृतित्व गान हो या सामान्य जनता के लिए गया में पिण्डदान, सभी क्षेत्रों में विद्यापति अपनी कालजयी रचनाओं के बदौलत जाने जाते हैं।

संरक्षक आदित्य झा ने इस अवसर पर मिथिला स्टूडेंड यूनियन द्वारा आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में अभिषेक मिश्रा, पप्पू झा, केशव झा, जीतू मिश्रा आदि के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया और प्रति वर्ष इस प्रकार का आयोजन करने की प्रतिबद्धता को दोहराया।

सम्पूर्ण विश्व की सम्पदा का लाभ हो फिर भी अपने सदाचार को बेचना नहीं चाहिए। लोभ कषाय सदाचार रूपी गुणों का शत्रु है। सद्-आचार सद् विचार तभी तक सुरक्षित हैं जब तक व्यक्ति लोक- कषाय से प्रभावित नहीं हुआ है। लोभ से प्रभावित होते ही सर्वगुण समाप्त होने लगते है। अन्तरंग की आसक्ति सदाचार को मूच्छित कर देती है। सदाचार की सिद्धि के लिए सत् साहित्य का अध्ययन, वस्तु तत्त्व का विचार, सदाचारी पुरुषों की संगति, हेय-उपादेय का गहन चिंतक मनन आदि करना चाहिए| तत्त्वों के हेय-उपादेय विचार बिना सदाचार नष्ट हो जाएगा। चर्चा पर विचारों का गहरा प्रभाव पड़ता है जैसे विचार होते है वैसा आचारण होने लगता है। सदाचार के लिए विचारों का स्वस्थ रहना अनिवार्य है।शरीर कितना ही क्षीण हो जाए, परन्तु पवित्र विचारों में क्षीणता नहीं आना चाहिए। यदि बर्तन बड़ा है तो पानी नीचे गिरकर कीचड़ नहीं करेगा और यदि पात्र छोटा है तो पानी नीचे गिरेगा, गीला करेगा कीचड़ भी होगा । जिसकी विचारधारा विराट् है वह कुटुम्ब - परिवार, राज्य एवं राष्ट्र में विद्वेष की कीचड़ नहीं फेंकने देगा | जब-जब, घर-घर का,  नगर-नगर का, राष्ट्र-राष्ट्र का युद्ध हुआ है तब-तब बहाँ  कोई न कोई  छोटे सोच वाला अवश्य होगा  मनुष्य का विचार विकास शील होता है  और होना भी चाहोये ।

पेट्रोल डीजल वाहनों की रजिस्ट्रेशन पर लगाई गई कैपिंग खत्म करें प्रशासन: कैलाश चन्द जैन

उद्योग व्यापार मंडल (युवीएम) के अध्यक्ष कैलाशचंद जैन ने प्रशासक से एक बार फिर पेट्रोल व डीजल से चलने वाला बाहर वाले वाहनों की रजिस्ट्रेशन पर लगाई गई कैंपिंग को हटाने व लोगों को जागरूक करने हेतु तथा समस्या के परमानेंट हल हेतु एक कमेटी गठित किए जाने की मांग की है।

 प्रशासक बनवारी लाल पुरोहित को लिखे पत्र में कैलाश चंद जैन ने गत दिनों ईवी पॉलिसी के तहत पेट्रोल डीजल वाहनों की कैपिंग में 10% की बढ़ोतरी करने के लिए प्रशासक का धन्यवाद किया है लेकिन साथ ही साथ बताया है कि यह 10% की बढ़ोतरी करने के बावजूद दो पहिया वाहनों की रजिस्ट्रेशन का कोटा आज समाप्त हो रहा है । इस संबंध में कैलाश जैन का कहना है कि  बेशक शहर में ईवी वाहनों को बढ़ावा दिया जाना जरूरी है लेकिन इसके लिए पेट्रोल डीजल वाहनों की रजिस्ट्रेशन बंद करके जोर जबरदस्ती नहीं की जानी चाहिए,  इसके बजाय लोगों में जागरूकता फैलानी चाहिए तथा प्रशासन द्वारा ऐसा माहौल बनाया जाना चाहिए कि लोग स्वयं ईवी वाहनों की खरीदारी हेतु आकर्षित हो। ईवी वाहनों पर ज्यादा सब्सिडी दी जानी चाहिए ताकि ईवी वाहनों की कीमत भी पेट्रोल डीजल वाहनों  के मुकाबले तर्कसंगत  हो सके,  शहर में चार्जिंग स्टेशन व अन्य सुविधाओं की पूरी व्यवस्था की जानी चाहिए ताकि लोगों को असुविधा न हो, पॉलिसी में यह भी स्पष्ट होना चाहिए कि दूसरे राज्यो से आने वाले पेट्रोल डीजल वाहनों  के बारे में प्रशासन का क्या स्टैंड है, बड़े कमर्शियल वाहन जो प्रदूषण का सबसे बड़ा कारण है उन पर कैसे रोक लगाई जा सकती है आदि सभी पहलुओं पर ध्यान देने की जरूरत है। इनके अलावा सभी प्रकार के स्टेकहोल्डर के पक्ष का ख्याल रखा जाना भी जरूरी है।

कैलाश जैन ने मांग की है कि इन सभी बातो को ध्यान में रखते हुए इस मुद्दे पर एक कमेटी का गठन किया जाना चाहिए  जिसमें विशेषज्ञ, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी जनता व ऑटो डीलरों के नुमाइंदे शामिल हो और जो सामूहिक रूप से यह फैसला कर सके कि  शहर की जनता व  डीलरों को कोई नुकसान पहुंचाये बगैर इस समस्या का हल कैसे निकल सकता है। तब तक इन ईवी वाहनों की रजिस्ट्रेशन पर लगाई गई किसी भी कैपिंग को हटा लिया जाना चाहिए।

 कैलाश जैन ने  यह भी याद करवाया है कि इस प्रकार की कैपिंग पूरे देश में किसी भी शहर में नही है तो केवल चंडीगढ़ में ही कैपिंग क्यों इसे तुरंत हटाया जाना चाहिए ताकि इस त्योहारी सीजन में   जनता ब  डिलर्ज को राहत मिल सके।

Chandigarh, Oct.29, 2023:- चण्डीगढ़ में पहली बार विशाल सनातन धर्म महोत्सव एवं भजन संध्या का आयोजन होने जा रहा है। आयोजक संस्था शिव डाक कांवड़ संघ, चण्डीगढ़ के सचिव हरिंदर बुद्धिराजा ने यहां आयोजित एक प्रेस वार्ता में इस बारे में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि सेक्टर 27 स्थित रामलीला ग्राउंड में 8 नवंबर को आयोजित किए जाने वाले कार्यक्रम में ज्योतिर्मठ बद्रिकाश्रम के पीठाधीश्वर जगद्गुरु शंकराचार्य स्वामीश्री अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद सरस्वती 1008 अपने मुखारविंद से पावन वचनों की अमृत वर्षा करेंगे। जगद्गुरु शंकराचार्य इस विशाल सभा में उपस्थित जनसमूह को सनातन धर्म की महानता एवं विशेषताओं के बारे में व्याख्यान देंगे। इस कार्यक्रम में अन्य मनीषी संत भी विशेष तौर पर पधार रहे हैं। इसी कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत विख्यात भजन गायक कन्हैया मित्तल भी भजन स्तुति करेंगे। कार्यक्रम शुरू होने से पूर्व सेक्टर 28 स्थित जगद्गुरू शंकराचार्य के प्रवास स्थल से सभा स्थल तक शोभा यात्रा भी निकाली जाएगी जिसका नेतृत्व स्वयं जगद्गुरु शंकराचार्य करेंगे। श्रद्धालुओं द्वारा इस शोभायात्रा का जगह जगह स्वागत करने की तैयारी की जा रही है। कार्यक्रम स्थल पर महिलाओं के लिए अलग से व्यवस्था की गई है व उपस्थित श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा का भी पुख्ता प्रबंध रहेगा। कार्यक्रम के अंत में अटूट भंडारा वितरित किया जायेगा।

इस अवसर पर मौजूद समाजसेवी डॉ. अनीस गर्ग शिव ने बताया कि डाक कांवड़ संघ, चण्डीगढ़ एक सामाजिक एवं धार्मिक संस्था है, जो पिछले 18 वर्षों से निरंतर नीलकंठ में सावन के महीने में भंडारे की सेवा करती आ रही है। इसके अलावा समय-समय पर चेरिटेबल कार्यों जैसे रक्तदान शिविर लगाना, धार्मिक आयोजन-प्रयोजन व भंडारा सेवा करना, जरूरतमंदों  की मदद करना आदि इस संस्था की मुख्य गतिविधियों में शामिल हैं। संस्था का एकमात्र मुख्य उद्देश्य सनातन धर्म का प्रचार-प्रसार व सेवा करना है। विशेष बात यह है कि संस्था के सदस्य निष्काम व निस्वार्थ भाव से सभी सामाजिक एवं धार्मिक कार्य अपने स्तर पर करने का प्रयास करते हैं।

’रन अगेंस्ट ड्रग्स एब्यूज’ में हजारों लोगों ने दिखाया अपना उत्साह

Chandigarh, Oct.29, 2023:- दौड़ को एक गंभीर खेल के रूप में स्थापित करने के मिशन वाला संगठन थ्रिल जोन ने रविवार सुबह यहां पंजाब हाफ मैराथन का आयोजन किया। यह कार्यक्रम समाज में लंबे समय से चल रहे मुद्दे - रन अगेंस्ट ड्रग एब्यूज - के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए आयोजित किया जा रहा था।

यह द्वि-वार्षिक पंजाब हाफ मैराथन का आयोजन, सुबह 5ः30 बजे शुरू किया गया। चंडीगढ़ क्लब, सेक्टर 1 से प्रतिभागियों ने तीन श्रेणियों 21 किमी (हाफ-मैराथन), 10 किमी और 5 किमी श्रेणियां में दौड़ लगाई इसके अलावा 3 किमी की मंनोरंजक दौड़ समयबद्ध थीं।  

इस अवसर पर आरपीएफ के डीआइजी कमलजोत बराड़ मुख्य अतिथि थे और उन्होंने हाफ मैराथन में भी भाग लिया तथा 51-60 आयु वर्ग की महिलाओं के लिए 21 किलोमीटर की दौड़ में दूसरा पुरस्कार जीता। (2:54:13 घंटे)

 मैराथन में फ्रांस, कनाडा, जर्मनी और यूएसए इन देशों के लगभग 10 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया।

थ्रिल जोन के संस्थापक पीसी कुशवाह ने कहा कि थ्रिल जोन एक संगठन है जो मैराथन और व्यापक प्रशिक्षण के माध्यम से दौड़ को एक गंभीर खेल के रूप में स्थापित करने की दिशा में काम कर रहा है। थ्रिल जोन में हम रनिंग कल्चर को बढ़ावा देने के लिए रनिंग बिरादरी को स्वस्थ जीवन प्रदान करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं और संगठन ने अपने 100 आयोजन पूरे किये हैं, थ्रिल जोन ने पूरे भारत में हाफ मैराथन का आयोजन किया है, इसलिए यह पूरे भारत में काम करता है।

21 किलोमीटर (पुरुष/महिला) दौड़ में 18 से 30 आयु वर्ष, 31 से 40 आयु वर्ष, 41 से 50 आयु वर्ष, 51 से 60 आयु वर्ष, 61 से 70 आयु वर्ष और 71 से अधिक आयु वर्ष के प्रतिभागी वर्ग शामिल रहेे।

10 किलोमीटर की दौड़ में, आयु वर्ग में 18 वर्ष से कम, 19 से 40 वर्ष, 41 से 50 वर्ष, 51 वर्ष शामिल होंगे, जबकि 5 किलोमीटर की समयबद्ध दौड़ में टाॅप 3 पुरुष और 3 महिलाओं को चुना गया और यह सभी के लिए ओपन थी।

सभी दूरियों के लिए कट-ऑफ टाइमिंग में 21 किमी (समयबद्ध दौड़)-3ः30 घंट,े 10 किलोमीटर (समयबद्ध दौड़) - 1ः30 घंटे और 5 किलोमीटर (समयबद्ध दौड़) - 45 मिनटशामिल था।
सभी प्रतिभागियों को एक टी-शर्ट, पदक, भागीदारी प्रमाण पत्र और जलपान प्रदान किया गया।
प्रत्येक श्रेणी में हाफ मैराथन के विजेता इस प्रकार हैं।

Hariom Smiles' Three-Day Spiritual Program Concludes

The last day of the three-day spiritual program organized by Hariom Smiles in the Tricity to commemorate its Eighth anniversary, spiritual guru Monica Singhal conducted a life-transforming session at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh. Chandigarh Mayor Anup Gupta, Bharatiya Janata Party National Treasurer Latika Sharma, social worker Anil Thapar, Child Welfare Association President Ranjita Mehta, Rajasthan Council President Anup Aggarwal and social worker Jagmohan Garg attended as chief guests. All the guests were welcomed by the members of Hariom Smiles.

Today's mega session started with a brief introduction of Hariom Smiles. All the dignitaries, thanked the spiritual guru for organizing the program in the city.  On the occasion, spiritual guru Monica Singhal addressed the guests who had come from all over India. She taught the attendees about forgiveness meditation, recovery and other spiritual practices.

She said that how people's lives changed after joining Hariom's Sadhana Smile.  On this occasion, the dance of one of the girls from Kolkata, who had a prosthetic leg, stole the show. The spiritual guru referred to this performance as the dance of the soul.  Similarly, another young girl, a cancer patient, who is full of positive life, was also honored during the programme.  She also gave information about Yoga to the followers, in which she expressed about laughter, dance and meditation yoga.  The national anthem was sung at the end of the programme.

It is noteworthy that Hariom Smiles has done great service by providing artificial limbs to thousands of people completely free of cost in about 18 states of India under a motto 'No one is handicapped by body or mind'.  Under the initiative taken by Smiles for a disability-free India, it has organized 22 camps in 18 days in different cities.

भक्ति भाव से सराबोर वातावरण में 76वें वार्षिक निरंकारी सन्त समागम का भव्य शुभारम्भ

Samajha, Oct.28, 2023:- ''हर एक इंसान चाहता है कि विश्व में शांति हो, सुकून हो, हर कोई सुकून की जिंदगी जी पाये। वास्तविक रूप में यह तभी सम्भव है जब हम अपने अंतर्मन में पहले सुकून ले आयें।'' उक्त उद्गार निरंकारी सत्गुरु माता सुदीक्षा जी महाराज ने 28 अक्तूबर, 2023 को 76वें वार्षिक निरंकारी संत समागम के शुभारम्भ में मानवता के नाम दिये सन्देश में व्यक्त किए।

'सुकून अंतर्मन का' शीर्षक पर आधारित यह तीन दिवसीय सन्त समागम निरंकारी आध्यात्मिक स्थल, समालखा, हरियाणा में आयोजित किया गया है जिसमें चण्डीगढ, मोहाली, पंचकुला और देश के कोने-कोने से एवं दूर देशों से लाखों की संख्या में उपस्थित होकर इस पावन अवसर का भरपूर आनंद प्राप्त कर रहे हैं।  
सत्गुरु माता जी ने सुकून का जिक्र करते हुए फरमाया कि जब हम स्वयं बेचैन हैं, हमारे अंतर्मन में उथल-पुथल है तो हम कहीं पर भी चले जायें हमें सुकून प्राप्त नहीं हो सकता। यदि हमें सही मायनों में सुकून प्राप्त करना है तो हमें पहले मानवीय गुणों को अपनाना होगा। उसके उपरान्त ही हम समुचे संसार के लिए वरदान बन सकते हैं। हमारे मन में यदि स्वयं के लिए मानवता का भाव नहीं तो हमारे जीवन में चैन, अमन, सुकून नहीं आ सकता।
अंत में सत्गुरु माता जी ने कहा कि जीवन का सबसे बड़ा सुकून परमात्मा को जानकर इसके साथ जुडने में ही है। जब हम निरंकार प्रभू से जुड़ जाते हैं तब हर समय हर स्थान पर केवल इस परमात्मा के ही दर्शन होते हैं और प्रेमभाव से युक्त होकर मन में सुकून धारण कर  इसकी लहरों को अपने परिवार, प्रियजनों से होते हुए पूरे देश एवं विश्व में विस्तृत करते चले जायें।
दिव्य युगल का भव्य आगमन
इसके पूर्व सत्गुरु माता सुदीक्षा जी महाराज एवं निरंकारी राजपिता जी के समागम स्थल पर आगमन होते ही सन्त निरंकारी मण्डल के प्रधान पूज्य सी.एल.गुलाटी जी एवं मंडल के कार्यकारिणी समिति के विभिन्न सदस्यों द्वारा फूलों के गुलदस्ते एवं फूलों की मालाओं द्वारा दिव्य युगल का हार्दिक स्वागत किया गया। उसके उपरान्त दिव्य युगल को एक फूलों से सजाई गई पालकी में विराजमान कर समागम के मुख्य प्रवेश द्वार से मुख्य मंच तक ले जाया गया। निरंकारी इन्स्टिट्यूट आॅफ म्युज़िकल आर्टस ;छप्ड।द्ध के 11 शहरों से आये हुए बच्चों द्वारा गाये जा रहे अभिनंदन गीत के साथ यह पालकी चल रही थी जिसकी अगुवाई संत निरंकारी सेवादल बैण्ड, संत निरंकारी मण्डल की कार्यकारिणी समिति और केंद्रीय नियोजन एवं सलाहकार समिति के सदस्यों द्वारा की गई।
दिव्य युगल को अपने समक्ष पाकर समागम स्थल पर उपस्थित श्रद्धालु भक्त भावविभोर हो उठे। आनंद से सराबोर सभी श्रद्धालु भक्त अपने भीगे नयनों से और हाथ जोड़कर धन निरंकार के जयघोष के साथ उनका अभिवादन कर रहे थे। भक्तों के अभिवादन को स्वीकार करते हुए दिव्य युगल ने भी अपनी मधुर मुस्कान द्वारा सभी भक्तों को पावन आशीर्वाद प्रदान किया।
निरंकारी प्रदर्शनी:
हर वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी समागम स्थल पर विशाल रूप में निरंकारी प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया गया है जिसका मुख्य विषय है 'सुकून - अंतर्मन का' जो समागम का मुख्य विषय है। इस विषय पर आधारित प्रदर्शनी नजर-ए-सुकून, दिदार-ए-सुकून, रहमतें-ए-सुकून, बहार-ए-सुकून, एतबार-ए-सुकून, उम्मीद-ए-सुकून आणि सुकून-ए-सद्गुरु इत्यादि आठ दालन बनाये गए हैं।
इस वर्ष प्रदर्शनी को 6 भागों में बांटा गया है जिसमें मुख्य प्रदर्शनी के अतिरिक्त स्टुडियो डिवाईन, बाल प्रदर्शनी, स्वास्थ्य एवं समाज कल्याण विभाग प्रदर्शनी, थिएटर एवं डिजाईन स्टुडियो इत्यादि का समावेश है।
विगत 25 अक्तूबर को इस प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन सत्गुरु माता सुदीक्षा जी महाराज के करकमलों द्वारा किया गया। उसके उपरान्त से ही इसे देखने के लिए प्रतिदिन हजारों श्रद्धालुओं का तांता लगा हुआ है।

वाल्मीकि जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में कड़ी-चावल और हलवा प्रसाद के भंडारे का किया आयोजन

Chandigarh, Oct.28 2023:-महर्षि वाल्मीकि के प्रकटोत्सव अवसर  पर प्रत्येक वर्ष की भांति इस साल भी सेक्टर 28 सी निवासियों द्वारा जैन मंदिर के नजदीक, सामने गुरुद्वारा नानकसर साहिब, सेक्टर 28 सी के निकट कड़ी-चावलऔर हलवा प्रसाद के भंडारे का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर स्थानीय पार्षद हरप्रीत कौर बबला बतौर मुख्यातिथि उपस्थित थी। आयोजनकर्ता मे  राजकुमार फौजी, जंगी राम, विनोद कुमार, मदन लाल कल्याण ,  अशोक कुमार,शाम लाल व कर्मवीर ने अपनी गरिमामय में उपस्थिति दर्ज करवाई। 

सरदार मलकीत सिंह कल्याण ने इस अवसर पर कहा कि भगवान वाल्मीकि की शिक्षाएं आज भी प्रसांगिक है। 

जबकि स्थानीय पार्षद हरप्रीत कौर बबला ने कहा कि वाल्मीकि समाज हमारे समुदाय का एक अभिन्न हिस्सा है और भगवान वाल्मीकि ने समाज को सत्य के मार्ग पर चलने तथा मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम भगवान राम के उच्च आदर्शों से परिचित करवाया। हम सबको उनकी बताई गई शिक्षाओ का अनुसरण करते हुए धर्म और सत्य की राह पर चलना चाहिए।, उन्होंने कहा कि भगवान वाल्मीकि केवल एक समुदाय विशेष के नहीं हर एक भारतवासी के लिए गर्व का विषय है। आयोजको मे से एक मदनलाल ने कहा कि उनका प्रयास है कि हर वर्ष में भंडारे का आयोजन इसी प्रकार होता रहे।

Corporate Sustainability Council ,WICCI organises Virtual Panel Discussion on Sanitary Pad Solutions for Empowering Women

Chandigarh, Oct.28, 2023:-The Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) Corporate Sustainability Council under the guidance of its  National President Sonali Dutta, conducted a thought-provoking virtual panel discussion on  "Women's health and Environmental Wellness : Sanitary Pad Solutions". She said that this panel discussion was timely and aimed at individuals and corporates alike for taking a holistic view of manufacture, distribution and disposal of Sanitary Napkins in a sustainable environmental friendly framework.

The panel discussion delved into  various aspects of menstrual health, the environmental impact of sanitary products, and innovative solutions to address these challenges. She said that this panel discussion was timely and  aimed at individuals and corporates alike for taking a holistic view of manufacture, distribution and disposal of Sanitary Napkins in a sustainable environmental friendly framework.

The discussion was moderated by Renuka Salwan, State Head, Chandigarh, and featured a panel of distinguished experts. She revolved the discussions based on issues related to women's health, environmental sustainability and social equity. She motivated all to join hands for collective mission to promote women's health and environmental wellness through effective sanitary pad solutions. 

Arun Gupta - Managing Trustee and President of Pinkishe Foundation, a renowned Menstrual Health Leader  dedicated to spreading menstrual literacy and sustainable menstrual products  made significant strides in addressing period poverty and has distributed over 5 million free sanitary pads. They have presence in 25 cities across India covering 2 lakh women.

Muzaffer Ali - Team Leader KHUSHIl, CSR of legendry cricketer Kapil Dev's foundation,  works with vulnerable and less privileged children and communities to ensure no child is left behind. They have transformed the lives of over 1.5 million women and children in 19 years. 

Aasawari Kane - Founding Member of Padcare Labs has developed an end-to-end disposal system for recycling used sanitary pads. 

Seema Kapoor, Faculty Advisor of ENACTUS SSBUICET, Panjab University, Chandigarh, highlighted the significance of reusable pads and sustainable menstrual products pitching the Project UDAY.

Prof. Seema Kapoor shared her perspective on the importance of promoting sustainable sanitary pad solutions. Shubham Dhiman, President of ENACTUS Panjab University and Preet Kanwal, former President of Enactus and member of WICCI CSC expressed their organization's dedication to creating impactful change and sustainable solutions in women's health and shared a brief presentation about their work.

Namrata, Founder of NGO Anahat working to ensure sexual and reproductive health rights to women and children with special focus on menstruation. They are providing alternative livelihood option to women through making reusable  cloth pads

The panel discussion covered a range of topics, including sustainable menstrual products, menstrual health awareness, and the importance of proper sanitary pad disposal. The participants engaged in a lively exchange of ideas and experiences, shedding light on the critical issues surrounding women's health and environmental sustainability.

The event was attended by a diverse audience of over 80+ people who were keen to gain insights into the intersection of women's health and sustainability. .

WICCI, an organisation dedicated to empowering women in various sectors, is committed to promoting a sustainable and healthy future for women. The discussions and insights from this panel are a testament to WICCI's commitment to addressing pressing issues that affect women and society at large.
